The book version of the ending, Murong converge did not marry the princess of Qi Yue, but instead fought the enemy side by side with Qin Zhao, Nan Chengyao later on the imperial army, suffered serious injuries, Murong Qing in order to save Nan Chengyao, agreed to the request of Li Mo (not allowed to go to the capital in his life). In the end, Nan Chengyao gave way to the Crown Prince (Murong Rui's son), and met Murong Qing, who was leaving, at the farmhouse himself.
The web version of the ending, tells the love story of Murong Rui and Princess Tian Lian, they go all the way to take down the Southern Dynasty, Nan Chengyao does not resist at all, and ends up waiting for Murong Rui at the palace, asking him where Murong Qing is. Murong Convergence lied to him that Murong Qing was dead, and in desperation he drank the poison, which was actually the fragrance of the other side of the river (after 3 days of faking his death, he would be back to normal).
Nan Chengyao presumably found Murong Rui's daughter, took her with him, and eventually met Murong Qing at an inn.
