Interpretation: This proverb seems to be applicable to a wide range, basically applicable to the northern region, with only a few differences in words at most. It means the phenology of "Winter Nine" days. September 19 and September 29 were too cold to raise their hands; It is colder in March and April, and the ice is thick enough for pedestrians to pass; It began to pick up on May 9 and June 9, and the distant willows are now spring; The ice of the 79 River began to melt; 89 Nanyan flies back; Spring ploughing began after the Ninth Five-Year Plan.
Note: The winter solstice is the first day of the ninth National Day every year, and nine days is a ninth National Day, which is ***8 1 day. Because the winter solstice is basically on February 22nd of 10 every year, the date of "Jiujiu" is basically fixed. In winter solstice, the nights in the northern hemisphere are the longest and the days are the shortest. Theoretically, the ground receives the least solar radiation, and the solar radiation-ground radiation is negative. On this day, the ground overdraws the most heat and the temperature drops the most. After that, although the days are longer and the nights are shorter, for a long time, the ground is still overdrawn with heat, and the temperature near the ground will continue to drop until the solar radiation-ground radiation reaches a balance, even positive. The "99" day after the winter solstice is the coldest day in a year, and it is also a process of solar radiation-ground radiation from negative to zero, and then to positive, which is reflected in people's feelings from colder to coldest, and then to warmer.
