Why do some people have hallucinations when practicing Qigong?

In the process of practice, with the progress of kung fu, practitioners will consciously have some good feelings, which is a normal phenomenon of practice and a self-expression of practice effect. However, there are also a few practitioners who sometimes see some illusions or hallucinations in the process of practice, and all kinds of phenomena are different. For example, some people have figures, objects, sights, or various colors in front of them, and even animals such as beasts, dragons and phoenixes and Xianglinsao appear.

Others feel that their bodies are rising, soaring, going to heaven, going to hell and so on. If this happens, don't be surprised, let alone afraid, be normal and blame yourself. Don't be afraid, entertain foolish ideas, and don't pursue blindly, lest it cause bad consequences. I am hallucinating.

Practitioners don't concentrate, so they can't relax, be quiet and be natural when practicing. When they are practicing this technique, they are thinking about other achievements in their hearts, and they are thinking that they already have fantasies in their minds. 2) Practitioners are not familiar with the practice methods, do not grasp the essentials and precautions, blindly pursue the sense of qi, and are eager to achieve success, resulting in the disorder of qi, which makes the practitioners feel at a loss and confused. 3) Some practitioners listen to other people's unrealistic statements and blindly pursue illusory world and special functions, leading to all kinds of illusory strange phenomena. Some people have no practical experience in practicing martial arts.

After reading some qigong materials, I thought I knew the true meaning of qigong, so I took it out of context and practiced blindly. Especially when I saw some examples introduced in the book, I copied them hard, eager for quick success and instant benefit, which led to deviation. (5) Some people who have no theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine and no practical experience in spreading skills have achieved some results by practicing a certain skill by themselves, and then spread skills everywhere. In order to convince others, they exaggerate, so they mystify and mislead others.
