Indian night exotic square dance

With the aggravation of international epidemic, traveling abroad has become a luxury. Gone are the days when we were free to enter and leave international airlines, and our life is more trivial and heavy.

Occasionally go out of life, think of those poems and distant places, let the tired hearts come back together and live a trivial life. May 20 18, my first trip after leaving my job and moving, opened my new world.

As the largest island in Malaysia, Langkawi Island is closer to Thailand. As a newcomer, I will have the illusion that I am on an island in Thailand, and the climate and diet are very close, but the more I know, the more different I will find.

It's less than 8 o'clock in Penang, pedestrians are sparse, and the sky is gray and blue. While the sun was still lazy in the clouds, we took the tickets and luggage booked in advance and embarked on a journey from Penang to Langkawi.

After breakfast in a Cantonese-style morning tea shop called Dadong, we went directly to the side to wait for the rickshaw. We can always see such a tricycle on the streets of Penang. After discussing the location and price, we sat in two seats in the front row.

This kind of China rickshaw seat always has a sense of the times, but the difference is that the driver is behind the seat, usually middle-aged and elderly people are pulling it, with an umbrella on his head and artificial flowers on both sides of the seat, which has a unique flavor.

Not too far. My uncle with only one front tooth smiled and took a selfie and gave up Penang. He waved goodbye to Penang at the dock and finally boarded the ship that led me to the depths of the sea.

More than two hours later, I waved goodbye to my Indian friend next door before I officially set foot on Langkawi Island. At this time, the sky is blue, echoing the sea from afar, and colorful boats are more gorgeous in the sun.

With the low clouds hanging high in the blue sky, I left the dock with happy and proud steps and was shocked by the sudden test of my friends. I took a taxi to my predetermined residence in my magical English, and I still remember the wry smile and frolicking in the car.

Crossing the asphalt road wrapped in green forest, the driver stopped at the fork in the road. A rare path extends deep into the forest in front of us and walks along the paved road. Pink low wooden houses are scattered among the vegetation.

The whole yard is very large, and the front yard is a variety of pavilions and rest areas. After approaching, the uncle in the inner courtyard rarely saw people after checking in for us. When you check out, put the key in the mailbox at the door, and then go through the drinking area to our room.

It's afternoon after simple cleaning, and it's scorching outside, and the hot climate is even worse than Penang. During my friend's lunch break, I can't wait to explore this house alone, which is completely natural with the surrounding vegetation.

The guest room is located at the back of the yard. When I went out, I was covered with rows of unknown green plants, which brought a little coolness to the particularly hot Langkawi. The sunlight is printed on the pink wall through the towering plants, which is vivid and beautiful.

Strolling from the sunny rainforest to the self-service coffee station, then making a cup of fragrant coffee, plunged into the pavilion, completely immersed in it, and the inner courtyard was empty, which became my private secret garden.

Outside the inner courtyard is a more spacious front yard, where there are not only free-range chickens, but also various potted plants and wild cats everywhere. A tatami-like pavilion for passers-by to rest, sitting cross-legged on the floor is much more comfortable.

After 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the sun was a little dark. Before lunch, we are going out to eat. We walked in the sparsely populated street, passed through the deserted shops and found a spacious and bright restaurant to stop.

After receiving the English menu, I suddenly realized that I was in Langkawi from the Chinese restaurant in Penang, half confused and half guessing my favorite food, but the taste was strikingly similar to that in Thailand, and the fun of the trip could not help but add a little difference.

When the night came quietly, we had put on flip-flops and were in the sea. The white beach is shining in the light and shadow of the sunset, and the heat of the day has receded, and people flock out. This day has just begun.

Walking along the coast in the direction of sunset, our feet wander in the undulating sea water and soft white sand, and the sky changes into different colors as the sunset sets, from shallow to deep, with elegant gray powder blue and strong blue purples.

Suddenly, it was like knocking over God's palette, and even the sea and the beach were infected. We are wrapped in colors and are in oil paintings. Everything is still except the tide.

Indulge in the interwoven night and stare for a long time, until the night is covered, I can no longer see the clouds dyed red by the sun. I'm still stupid to death It takes a long time to recover from the distant songs and cross the sand to find the source of the sound.

This song comes from the beach of Linhai Hotel. It is a traditional Malaysian song, accompanied by boys and girls dressed in gorgeous traditional costumes singing and dancing, which makes people shine, and the exotic customs are particularly moving in the night.

Walking back, a group of young people are playing with fire, with flickering flames jumping on the beach in the dark. A wooden stick or chain ignites flames on both sides, rolls in the hand, and jumps in the air to draw a beautiful arc, which is lively and colorful.

I was still unfinished, but I was defeated by my stomach to protest. The food is waving to me, and I am returning to the busy street from the seaside to add a little fireworks. Shops and stalls on both sides of the street are crowded with people, completely losing the cold and cheerless scene during the day.

In Penang, we mainly eat street snacks, but in Langkawi, we eat the most Malay dinner in a beautifully decorated restaurant and order a glass of brandy to indulge our body and mind in this sultry night!

My trip to Malaysia is unfinished and will be updated continuously. Look forward to seeing you next time!
