Introduction of Li Xiaoyun

Li Xiaoyun, male, born in 1961, is a native of Dingbian, Shaanxi. He is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. he received his doctoral degree in agronomy from Beijing Agricultural University (now China Agricultural University) in 1987, and went to Germany and Holland to study rural development, rural sociology, and development research in 1990~1992. he was awarded the first China Poverty Eradication Prize in 2004. In 2011, he was awarded the first "Youcheng Poverty Alleviation Scientific Research Achievement Award" organized by the State Council Leading Group and "National Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation and Development" by the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, and was elected as a member of the Social Sciences Committee of the Ministry of Education in 2007. In 2007, he was elected as a member of the Social Sciences Committee of the Ministry of Education, and in 2010, he was elected as a member of the Expert Committee of the Collaborative Research Program between the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) of the United Kingdom and the Department for International Development (DFID) of the United Kingdom. He has been employed as a senior development expert in bilateral, multilateral and non-governmental organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, the European Union, Germany and the United Kingdom.
