The history of Kaifeng Long Ting

The ancient buildings in Long Ting Park can be traced back to the government office of Buffer Town built during the reign of Tang Dezong Shili (780-805).

Later, in the Five Dynasties, Hou Liang, Hou Jin, Hou Han and Hou Zhou successively converted it into a palace.

The imperial city of the Northern Song Dynasty (including the imperial palace) is also here, called ouchi.

In the late Jin Dynasty, it was also used as a palace.

After the Yuan Dynasty destroyed the gold, it was the official office of Jiangbei Province, Henan Province.

At the end of Yuan Dynasty, the Red Scarf Army peasants revolted, and the Longfeng regime also used it as a temporary camp.

In the Ming Dynasty, the then rulers built Zhou Fan Palace.

In the sixteenth year of Shunzhi (1659), it was set as an examination place on the site of Zhou.

After more than 70 years of construction, the hospital has more than 5,000 houses.

Mingyuan Mansion is four feet high, injecting new vitality into the former site of Wang Fu.

However, due to the low terrain and serious water accumulation, it is impossible to continue to use it.

In the thirty-first year of Kangxi (1692), the Wanshou Pavilion was built on the former Zhougong Jingshan Park to honor the memorial tablet of the emperor. Every holiday ceremony or the emperor's birthday, local officials will come here to worship.

So Jingshan Park was changed to Long Ting Mountain, or "Long Ting" for short.
