The characteristics of dance:

Dance performance Dance movements in dance works should also have certain skills, and dancers should have high-level skills such as jumping, rotating, tumbling, softness and control. However, performing high-level skills in dance works is not an end in itself, but a means to express characters' thoughts and feelings, shape their character and mental outlook.

If the means is the purpose in dance works, the superb skills of the actors are not based on reflecting life and expressing the thoughts and feelings of the characters, or the corresponding dance action skills are not selected according to the dance content.

Instead, it shows the dancers' skills and abilities, which will make the dance works fail because of the disconnection between content and form, or the lack of artistic integrity, and the dancers' skills themselves will fall into acrobatic skill performances, thus losing the basic character of dance art.

Basic matters needing attention when practicing dance:

First, practice the lower back step by step, with proper protection. Don't talk, laugh or be distracted when you bend over, so as not to get angry and have an accident.

Second, leg stretching training should avoid kicking too high, leg press too hard, stretching too much, causing muscle strain on the back of the thigh.

Third, pay attention to prevent unstable landing. Put anti-skid mats on the ground, or let children practice on the ground, such as lying flat and practicing kicking, and sitting on the ground to leg press.

Don't learn dance for more than an hour and a half in a class. Some informal dance training classes can not give correct and standardized guidance and protection when children dance, which may easily lead to accidental injuries.

When parents choose a dance organization for their children, it is best to know the content and objectives of the course in advance and carefully observe how the teacher helps the children complete these movements. If there are courses beyond children's age, they must sign up carefully. Before each class, send the child to the learning place half an hour in advance, so that he has enough time to prepare for activities, reduce the probability of injury, and let the child better enter the dance state.
