What do you think of the labeling of "female college student", which is often associated with vulgarity and indecency?

When I saw this topic, I subconsciously snorted, but in 2016, there is still this kind of "no excuse for the crime you want to commit", which shows that we have a long way to go in terms of education.

China's huge population puts every group of people at risk of being labeled

Is this label only applied to female college students?

174 million post-1990s have become the main force of the new youth groups in Chinese society, such a large group, when the label on them torn?

One million Chinese urban managers are spread all over the country, and in the age of self-media, how many people are staring at their every move, and how many urban management scandals have been exposed? Have the labels affixed to the urban management torn?

In 2015, the size of China's college students reached 37 million, ranking first in the world. A rough estimate puts the number of female college students in China at more than 17 million, a figure that ranks in the top 60 of more than 200 countries in the world in terms of population. How can you put a label on 17 million people?

How can we ignore such a simple and low level of common sense and throw dirty water on the nearly 20 million female college students when, given China's huge population, the phenomenon of a minority of any group can add up to a staggering absolute number?

Any analysis that looks at absolute numbers without talking about proportions is a rogue way of analyzing.

The media's push has hurt groups such as female college students

Traffic in the age of self-media is money, and all kinds of real and fake media are doing everything they can to attract traffic. All kinds of underhanded conceptualization, generalization, intensive push, out of context and other deceptive practices continue to break through the bottom line of the media, we have seen less, still want to endure it?

These unscrupulous media marketing number to us as a pig, take the material set us, some people are still salivating, eat with gusto. As the saying goes, if there is a demand, there is a market. The status quo of network vulgarization is exactly the result of netizens choosing out of every click.

I don't make value judgments or moral criticisms, but at the very least we can't stand righteously in the sludge we've created and throw the dirty hat on college girls, can we?

Bias and Misunderstanding Due to Survivor Bias

Survivor bias is a common logical trap, which refers to only being able to see the result of some kind of filtering without being aware of the process of filtering, and therefore overlooking the key information that was filtered out.

Just as the negative news about female college students happens to people of other ages, genders, occupations, and statuses, people ignore and forget about the other groups of people, but only remember the negative news about female college students. In the long run, the prejudice will be y rooted.

On the other hand, what can be noticed by the media is originally a small probability event, and the negative news about female college students that we see in the media time and again are the incredible events that can attract people's attention after a large number of screenings and "survivals". When the public focuses on these "extraordinary" phenomena, wantonly labeling female college students, how many people can understand that we have long fallen into the trap of survivor bias?

What is the point of having a problem with this?

I don't deny that some of the scandals in the college community are real, but is it only the women who are to blame for the scandals?

The erotic dealings behind the naked loans for female college students can be accomplished by the girls alone? The nude photos that are sold on the Internet are not purchased by women, but by women themselves, who are objectifying the college women

We have to admit that today's society is still a patriarchal one, and almost all of the people who are chasing women and consuming them are men. Behind every college girl who sells her body there is usually a man who is obsessed with sex, so who is nobler than anyone else?

We can criticize those who do not love themselves, do not self-esteem of female college students, but do not stand on the moral high ground to blame the "red-colored woe", that is the feudal times instead of the excuse for men to throw the pot. And the vulgarity, indecent labeling in nearly 20 million female college students, this is the crime of wanting to add, there is no excuse!
