Expanded profile:
"Rain of the Heart" has a beautiful melody, and sounds like a faint sadness. The pain and determination of not being able to marry the man of one's choice and having to commit oneself to marrying someone else as a woman is slowly spread out in Yang Yuying's rendition of the song, coupled with Mao Ning's low and mellow male voice, making the song sound catchy. It makes the song sound catchy and intriguing.

Once a red-hot golden girl
Yang Yuying, formerly known as Yang Gangli and later renamed Yang Yuying, was admitted to the art class of the Nanchang Normal College in 1986 at the age of 15, and began to pursue a professional and systematic study of music, with a focus on folk songs. After graduation, Yang Yuying was admitted to the Jiangxi Provincial Song and Dance Troupe and was exposed to orthodox song and dance dramas.
In 1990, Yang Yuying followed one of the troupe's teachers to Guangzhou, which at the time was the most rapidly developing city for music in mainland China. In Guangzhou, Yang Yuying met musician Chen Luo and Mao Ning, who had also traveled to Guangzhou to seek development.
In 1991, Yang Yuying published her solo album "Blessing for Love" and "Dreaming of Flowers", her first album "Blessing for Love" sold 200,000 copies, and then the record company, thanks to her fresh and sweet voice, located Yang Yuying in the "sweet girl" and launched it in the country. Mao Ning's handsome appearance is very popular, so the two were soon created as the singing world's "Golden Girls".
Since then, the two of them have been slowly making a name for themselves. Back in the 1990s, the national sensation caused by Mao Ning and Yang Yuying has been recognized as an achievement that has not been surpassed by any mainland company or artist even today.
In the course of her collaboration with Mao Ning, Yang Yuying became the idol of many young people with melodious songs such as "Tell You Softly" and "Moon Boat."
Despite her mother's objections, Yang quietly withdrew from the singing world at the end of 1996, beginning a three-year period of little-known life.
Since she was stabbed in 2000, the negative impact has sent Mao Ning's career into an immediate nadir, and she has had a very difficult time for more than 10 years.
And the love songs they sang together, such as "Heart Rain," "After Love," and "How Many Times Can I Love Like This," have been sung, and the song "Heart Rain" is still one of the mandatory KTV love songs for both men and women until today. In the 90's, this song is almost unheard of in the streets.
