? ? The second phase project of Xianyang Lake is an important part of the comprehensive improvement project of Weihe River in the whole province, ranging from Nanying Village to Wang Yu Village in Qindu District, with a total length of 16.82km.
7.26 km upstream of Xianyang Lake is dominated by beach management and water landscape, 4.68 km south of Xianyang Lake is dominated by water landscape, and 4.88 km downstream of Xianyang Lake is dominated by maintaining natural rivers and ecological management of beaches on both sides.
The main construction contents include river dredging, widening the main river, building No.2 auxiliary dam and No.3 dam, building beach protection project and hydrophilic platform, and building five wetland landscape areas: cultural and sports leisure area, riverside wetland landscape area, Diaoyutai wetland landscape area, Weicheng wetland park and Fengwei wetland landscape area.
The project is designed according to the new concept of "emphasizing the comprehensiveness, integrity and coordination of water control, changing from simple water control to systematic water control, and changing from rigid water control to flexible water control" by the provincial party committee and government, and following the construction principle of "paying attention to ecological management, restoring the natural attributes of rivers, expanding the water area and building landscape functional areas".
At present, No.3 air shield dam has been built to store water; Cultural and sports leisure area, riverside wetland landscape area and Weicheng wetland park have been completed and opened to the outside world.
After the project is completed, 10,000 mu of water surface, 10,000 mu of green land and 10,000 mu of flower sea will be formed in Xianyang City of Weihe River, forming a beautiful water ecological park in the city center and an urban leisure and fitness sports belt, which conforms to the overall requirements of "making Weihe River the largest ecological park and the most beautiful landscape corridor in Guanzhong" proposed by the provincial party committee and government, and forms a beautiful landscape on Weihe River.
