Dizziness and nausea after fitness

Sudden excessive exercise will cause dizziness. Exercise should be gradual and beneficial to your health.

Explain from a physiological point of view: when you exercise vigorously, you usually breathe with your mouth open, and the gas inhaled into the gastrointestinal tract will increase greatly. When you exercise, the excitement of sympathetic nerve will lead to the weakening of gastrointestinal peristalsis, and the gas will naturally gush upward if it cannot be transported smoothly, so retching, burping and even acid reflux will occur.

It is suggested to control the amount of exercise, adopt correct breathing methods (deep inhalation through the nose and exhalation through the mouth), and drink a proper amount of water after exercise without special attention.

If the gastric motility is insufficient (such as fullness and acid regurgitation), this situation is more likely, and it can be treated with drugs that promote gastric motility, such as ephedrine.
