Chromosome microarray analysis reported that the aborted embryo was 13 trisomy.
The number of somatic chromosomes in human body is 23 pairs, of which 22 pairs are shared by men and women, which are called autosomes. The other pair is the sex-determining chromosome, which is different between men and women and is called sex chromosome, with XY for men and XX for women. Chromosomes should be normally distributed in pairs, and the results show that the embryo has three chromosomes 13, which belongs to chromosome abnormality. In this case, there is a high probability that the fetus will replace the congenital disease, and abortion is generally chosen.
