On the morning of September 9th, 2002/KLOC-0, the National Health and Wellness Committee held a kick-off meeting on standardized management of clinical research in medical and health institutions in Beijing, and officially issued the Administrative Measures for Medical and Health Institutions to Initiate Clinical Research by Researchers (Trial) (hereinafter referred to as the Administrative Measures), which is scheduled to be held in Beijing and Shanghai on September 9th, 2002/KLOC-0.
Liu Dengfeng, deputy director of the National Health and Wellness Commission and inspector of the Department of Science and Education, Gu Jinhui, deputy director, Da, deputy director of the Medical Administration and Hospital Authority, Wang, second-level inspector of the Department of Science and Education, and Chai Huiting, deputy director of the Department of Major Special Projects, attended the meeting and gave important instructions on the pilot work. Li Ning, Assistant Dean of Cancer Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences, and Du Jun, Deputy Director of Scientific Research Department attended the meeting.
Management for development
The Administrative Measures stipulate that medical and health institutions should pass scientific review and ethical review when conducting clinical research. In the process of research, we should fully respect the right to know and the right to choose independently.
