The median vertical line, that is, the gravity line, is a line passing through the center of gravity of the human body and perpendicular to the ground.
Evaluation process
Side view
When observing the body arrangement from the side, it is necessary to observe the problem from the sagittal plane. When the body is in a standard posture, the following observation points can be found from the middle vertical line, from top to bottom: earlobe, neck center, acromion, trunk center, greater trochanter, slightly forward of knee center and slightly forward of ankle center.
Main evaluation items: head flexion, cervical curvature, whether shoulder joint is rotated internally or externally (rare), thoracic curvature (humpback or concave), lumbar curvature (too large or too flat), pelvic anteroposterior angle, pelvic forward movement and knee joint hyperextension.
back view
We observe the posture arrangement from the back, mainly to observe the symmetry of the body, and we need to look for problems from the coronal plane and the horizontal plane. Important landmarks and bone landmarks should be in the arrangement of head, shoulder, scapula, the distance between arm and trunk, the arrangement of spine, the posterior superior iliac spine, knee and ankle.
Main evaluation items: head rotation and lateral flexion, high and low shoulders, pelvic tilt, pelvic rotation, genu varus or valgus, foot varus or valgus.
A positive view
The front view, like the back view, mainly focuses on the symmetry of the body, mainly observing the nod, shoulders, clavicle, navel, pelvis, knees and feet.
Main evaluation items: head tilt and rotation, shoulder height, whether the arm is pronated or not, pelvic height, genu varus and valgus, renting eight characters or inner eight characters.
