First of all, let's re-examine our outlook on life with what kind of mentality.
Everyone's life will inevitably have regrets and disappointments. Maybe we can't change this fact, but what we can change is our attitude towards these things. One of the essences of The Analects tells us that how to treat the regrets and sufferings in life with a peaceful attitude, people should first be able to face the regrets in life correctly, and don't dwell on it, and ask questions repeatedly, which will only aggravate your pain. The second attitude is to admit the deficiency of reality and make up for it through your own efforts. This is what The Analects of Confucius tells us about the attitude towards life defects. In the way of dealing with the world, Confucius advocated that "if you are not in office, you will not seek politics", which means that "if you are in office, you will seek politics". In our work, everyone has his own post, and doing his job well is the premise. Society is a big school. If you want to make a difference in your work and be truly competent, you must listen more, watch more, think more, be cautious in your words and deeds, and combine your own personal practice with others' indirect experience to make yourself comfortable in your work. Confucius said that "cultivating the people" is a noble belief, feeling and social tolerance. As ordinary people, we have no ability to take care of our understanding. What we have to do is to do our job well from the first step. If everyone can do his job well, then the whole collective is harmonious and positive.
Second, we should correctly treat the gains and losses in life.
As an important spiritual heritage of the Chinese nation, The Analects of Confucius has great inheritance value, and there are many places worth learning, which can really be described as "learning without regrets". In particular, it is refreshing to see the book The Analects of Confucius written by Professor Peking University Yu Dan. What attracts me most is every short story confirmed in it. Although the content is brief, it contains many philosophies and principles of life. For example, Yu Dan told such a story in The Analects of Confucius, which impressed me deeply: there is a finely carved granite Buddha statue in a temple, and many people come to worship every day. The steps through the Buddha statue are also made of granite from the same mountain. The steps protested against the Buddha statue: I am a brother, so why should people step on us and worship you? What's so great about you? The Buddha said flatly, I thought it took you four knives to take the leadership position, and I took thousands of knives to become a Buddha. I tell you, when we compare with others consciously or unconsciously, the premise is that we are comparable. The key is that the comparative method should be scientific and reasonable. Through comparison, find the gap and generate pressure and motivation. Because of the logo, it is convenient to locate and determine the target. Its goal should be to make people progress. Compared with this, I feel much more peaceful in my heart and less resentful. As the saying goes, you have your happiness and I have my happiness.
Third, love is like loving yourself, and respecting others is like loving yourself.
Modern people generally want to be cared for and respected by others, but seldom think about why they should pay for it. Some people are self-centered, supercilious and nobody cares. Some people swear when they say it, whether others accept it or not. Those who love them will always love them, and those who respect them will always respect them. Without others in your heart, it is difficult to get respect from others, especially many unhappy people in life, who are more worried than happy, and it is even more difficult to achieve supreme self-love. Therefore, we should always keep a sincere heart, praise others sincerely, treat others sincerely, accept their goodwill sincerely, repay their grievances with good deeds, express their feelings directly, and guide our actions with the spirit of The Analects.
Reading the Analects of Confucius teaches us a kind of wisdom, a correct attitude towards our own gains and losses, a rational view of our friends, a state of mind, and a rational morality integrated into real life. We often say today that climate, geographical location and harmony between people are the basis of national prosperity and career success, especially in today's efforts to create a harmonious society, harmony between people is particularly important.
In the Analects of Confucius, we can also deeply feel the spirit of "teaching people tirelessly" and "lifelong learning". His profound educational thought is full of wisdom, which is a valuable asset in our traditional education and also has great reference significance for our modern quality education.
The Analects of Confucius is a book of saints, and there are many contents that I haven't fully understood. I also want to study hard, persevere, combine practical experience with my heart, base on actual needs, interpret with modern consciousness, and try to internalize and infiltrate my words and deeds to guide my self-cultivation and work.
