Vegetarianism is not equal to a healthy diet.
People who eat bread, pasta, pretzels, bagels, rice cakes and biscuits instead of meat, poultry and dairy products, although their fat intake is low, also lack vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, important essential fatty acids and fiber, which obviously cannot be regarded as a healthy diet, let alone achieve anti-cancer effect. Besides, flour and rice lacks fiber and can't bring satiety. At the same time, there is already excess heat. In other words, the nutritional calorie ratio and nutritional fiber ratio of this diet are too low.
Let me emphasize again: it is better to eat more fruits and vegetables than to eat vegan. A vegetarian who often makes cereal, breakfast cereal, processed healthy food, vegetarian fast food, white rice and spaghetti is not as healthy as a person who eats a lot of fruits, vegetables and beans and occasionally eats chicken or eggs.
Many studies have confirmed that vegetarians do live longer than meat eaters. However, if you look at the data again, you will find that although some people are not strictly vegetarians, as long as they eat enough natural vegetables, their life expectancy is no less than that of vegetarians.
Don't forget that people who have been vegetarian for a long time (vegan, excluding ovalbumin) have almost no cases of heart attacks. How many years can vegetarians live?
Advanced countries have electricity, refrigeration technology, good sanitation and adequate food, but few people have studied lifelong vegetarians, so it is difficult for me to give an exact figure and tell you how many years vegetarians can live. Nevertheless, this is a well-structured study and its results are very credible. Among them, I am most interested in the relationship between eating lettuce and longevity. Green leafy vegetables are the most nutritious food on the surface and the best indicator of longevity.
Some nutrition experts have compared China's diet research with hundreds of other small-scale food intake studies, and think that human beings must eat vegan food, give up flour and rice and give priority to natural plant foods in order to reach the highest level of longevity. This speculation is well founded, but whether a small amount of animal food is harmful is not the most important issue. The most tenable statement should be:
