Where can I get a health certificate?

Health certificates are generally handled at the local centers for disease control and prevention.

A health certificate is a health examination certificate, which proves that you have started a health examination. It mainly involves six diseases in five industries, which greatly protects the health of employees and customers.

There are two kinds of health certificates: one is general health certificate. Then the other is the food health certificate, which is needed by people in the catering industry.

Legal basis:

Article 10 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Regulations on Hygiene Management in Public Places.

Operators of public * * * places shall organize employees to carry out annual health check-ups, and employees can only take up their posts after obtaining valid health certificates.

Persons suffering from digestive tract infectious diseases such as dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis A and viral hepatitis E, as well as persons suffering from active pulmonary tuberculosis, suppurative or exudative skin diseases, shall not engage in the work of directly serving customers before being cured.

Article 45 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Food Safety Law

Food producers and business operators shall establish and implement the health management system for employees. Persons suffering from diseases that hinder food safety as stipulated by the administrative department of health of the State Council shall not engage in the work of directly importing food from Hong Ying.

Food production and marketing personnel engaged in direct contact with imported food shall undergo annual health examination and obtain health certificates before taking up their posts.

Article 7 of the Regulations on Hygiene Management in Public Places.

Personnel who directly serve customers in public places can only engage in their own work with the Health Certificate. Persons suffering from dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis, active tuberculosis, purulent or exudative skin diseases and other diseases that hinder public health shall not engage in direct customer service before they are cured.
