How to explore the Brazilian rainforest?

I have been to the Brazilian rainforest! A super distinctive place: winding waterways, just like the dusk of oil painting and the starry night sky. ...

We caught piranha with chicken and ate it! It's delicious!

Seen pink dolphins! But it's really too late to shoot!

I've seen lizards crawling around!

I once saw a tour guide eat a fat white bug directly in the tree!

I think this experience is enough for me to remember for a long time. It is the biggest world I have ever seen! I still remember it, so I want to share the story here with you, hoping to bring you some reference and inspiration. Let's take a trip!

First, the route planning first talk about the preliminary arrangement of our trip:

Through the introduction of local Chinese, we added a local tour guide to the rainforest, and then arranged our overall itinerary through this English tour guide. The payment method is to give cash after we go (there is basically no cost after entering the rainforest, after all, there is no commodity trading in the rainforest, and there is no opportunity to spend money).

The tour guide will follow us all the way and tell us the precautions, such as what can be touched, what can be eaten and what can't be touched. Very reassuring! And eat and live all the time, don't bother, follow the tour guide and have no brains ~ so the whole trip is very relaxed and happy!

Four of our friends are girls, so it's very convenient to live by car and boat, so it's a half-group tour, and only the tour guide takes us four, which is very cost-effective.

Let's talk about traffic:

Because we are in Brazil, we flew from our city to Manaus, Brazil → then took a bus from the airport to the pier → took a boat from the pier to the village (? A village that can't be described is almost the same) → Take a bus from the village to the edge of the rainforest (starting to break away from the crowd and enter the rainforest) → Take a boat into the depths of the rainforest (not a boat, just a few people can only sit in the boat … stop from time to time, and then you can start the engine). This is the farmhouse where you live!

The clear intersection of Haihe River seen by boat along the way.

Taken on the boat, there is really water everywhere.

This journey basically starts around 3 am and arrives in the afternoon, and there is still a time difference. This shows that inconvenient transportation will lead to a very long journey and a lot of physical exertion. If you are in poor health, it is recommended to bring motion sickness medicine and chocolate. It's really difficult to go by car or boat.

Let's talk about accommodation:

Accommodation is a double cabin in the rainforest, with air conditioning blower, toilet and shower, but there is no hot water, only cold water.

These houses are all made of pure wood. Each room has a window and a hanging chair outside. There are many rooms in the whole farmhouse, all of which are wooden double rooms. There is also a wooden hall, which can be regarded as the lobby restaurant and kitchen. We eat here three times a day, and the tour guides live and cook here. The ingredients are fish newly caught in the rainforest, chickens raised by ourselves, vegetables grown in the yard, etc. And there is little seasoning. Basically, they are all fresh and super delicious! This heavy mouth star is in love!

Outside my room window, the scenery is really good.

Second, life planning.

In the rainforest, I was disconnected from the internet and could buy WiFi, but I still chose to enjoy a quiet and happy week without any information interference ~

So there are really not many things to bring, mainly rain-proof and insect-proof things.

It's easy to keep out the rain. I recommend a raincoat. After all, it often rains when I watch it. Without a raincoat, the clothes are often wet, difficult to dry, and easy to get eczema. But I also brought an umbrella, but I thought it was inconvenient and windy, so a raincoat was more suitable.

Insect control is divided into soft insect control and hard insect control. The main thing is to get vaccinated, bring some anti-mosquito drugs and get dressed before going. After all, many insects in the rainforest are poisonous.

Soft pest control is mainly some drugs, which are divided into two parts. One is the preparation before going to China. For example, entry-exit health books need to go to customs, and there will be dengue vaccine and malaria vaccine. The other is local preparation in Brazil, such as buying a lot of mosquito repellent spray, itching ointment, oral antiallergic drugs, antibacterial hand cream and so on.

Include, but are not limited to, these preparations.

Hard insects are mainly worn, mainly thin and breathable long-sleeved trousers and sports shoes. My principle is not to leak an inch of skin outside, even if I sleep, I will wrap myself up and endure the heat (because I am really scared), so I am really ugly and rustic in the photo.

We are wearing raincoats.

Is this the way we dare not show a little skin behind our guide brother in raincoats?

Third, the journey experience is not much to say, just go to the picture!

During the period in the rainforest, the experience included catching piranha with chicken.

This is the little piranha I caught.

I caught piranha and pretended to eat it directly. The fishing rod and fishing line are made by the tour guide.

But this piranha is really tender! Bake it with a little salt, absolutely!

Wait for the little crocodile to appear at night, touch it and catch it ~

The tour guide is holding a small crocodile.

We observed the little crocodile at close range.

The sanctioned little crocodile: it will be forced to open its business before it becomes an adult.

I'm holding a little crocodile.

I am holding the crocodile, next to my beautiful roommate.

The little crocodile's body is cold, slippery and stiff, as if it were more nervous than mine.

Go deep into the rainforest to visit ancient trees and introduce all kinds of animals and plants that I have never seen or heard of (but I dare not raise my hand to take pictures in it, so many strange animals and plants dare not take pictures)

I don't know how old an old tree is.

Trees growing in water

Every time I see this photo above, I want to describe this scene with Gu Cheng's poem: it is the power of the tree swimming!

These trees are all in the water, and as soon as the rainy season is over, you can see the traces on the trunk.

Look at the double rainbow (there is more rain in the rainforest, so you can often see the double rainbow from some angles! But I didn't shoot this very well, so I still feel it with my heart ~)

Watching the sunrise and sunset, I have to say that there is no polluted environment. This sky is amazing! ! ! !

Stars, bright starry sky

Huawei's night scene mode is really good.

Beautiful sunset and lovely dog hook

And I pretend to care in the sunset.

It is also a winding waterway on the ship, like an oil painting.

Dusk! Beautiful, really!

Words are not enough to express that shock.

Just in time for the birthday of a resident in the rainforest, the tour guide took us to his home to spend the birthday with their extended family, playing football, eating cakes, eating delicious food and so on.

I came back from playing football.

After playing barefoot, I came back to find my friends and my lifestyle gradually became Brazilian. Ha ha ha ha ha.

This is the house where the local people live.

They are all wood structures. After all, there are no other building materials.

To sum up, Brazil, as one of the farthest countries from China, may be a stranger to you. It can be said that it is a completely different world from China. As a tourist, it is strongly recommended to feel it ~ but the premise is to pay attention to safety and go hand in hand (the public security is really bad, our friends have been robbed of money); It's best to know Portuguese or Spanish, if not, you have to be fluent in English (except in big cities or airports, the popularity of English in Brazil is not that high). As long as you are prepared accordingly, it is still a great experience to feel the excitement! Now the safety of rainforest tourism is very high, don't worry ~

Today's cloud tour with everyone is over! I hope you like it!
