Zhuyeqing Liquor is a herbal health wine with the longest history, the healthiest formula and the widest reputation in China, and its history can be traced back to the Southern and Northern Dynasties. It is based on high-quality Fenjiu, with more than ten kinds of precious medicinal materials, and is processed by unique production technology. Its mellow and sweet taste has been recognized by people since the Tang and Song Dynasties.

Mr. Fu Shan, a patriotic poet, a famous scholar and a medical master in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, has a special liking for the long-standing brewing of Zhuyeqing wine after more than 1000 years of struggle. Mr. Fu Shan modified the preparation of Zhuyeqing liquor and determined the formula, so that the preparation technology of Zhuyeqing liquor was finalized in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. So as to further improve that nutritional and health care function of the bamboo leaf green wine.
In modern times, Yang Deling, the shopkeeper of Baoquanyi Winery, began to produce bamboo leaf green wine on the basis of Fenjiu brewing in 1904, thus establishing the standard that modern bamboo leaf green wine must be processed on the basis of Fenjiu.
After the founding of New China, the Fenjiu people in Xinghua Village kept innovating. 1975 Professor Hua, a famous mathematician, personally went to Xinghua Village Fenjiu Factory and used the "optimization method" in mathematics to transform Zhuyeqing liquor. The soaking time of fresh bamboo leaves, Amomum villosum, rosewood, angelica sinensis, dried tangerine peel, clove, zero fragrance, aucklandia root 13 and rock sugar in Fenjiu was optimized, and the best results were obtained.
