To this end, Chery Group expects to invest more than 654.38 billion yuan by 2025, build more than 300 laboratories in Eta Ursae Majoris, and establish a research and development team of more than 20,000 people.

At present, Chery's passenger car business has formed a development strategy of combining hybrid power, extended range, pure electricity and hydrogen energy, and has formed a "four vertical and three horizontal" R&D core layout with battery, motor and electronic control technology as the core.
On this basis, Chery's "Eta Ursae Majoris 2025 Strategy" has created four major technical fields, with 15 core technologies.

Products can cover A+ to C-class SUVs, SD, MPV, and can also meet the needs of five-seat, six-seat and seven-seat models.
Moreover, the platform adopts EEA 5.0 electronic and electrical architecture, high computing power of 1000 TOPS and high transmission of Gigabit Ethernet. Soft and hard decoupling and full stack control fully support high-order intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit 6.0.
Behind the two platforms are eight core technologies built by Chery, including Kunpeng hybrid engine technology, Kunpeng Power's third-generation Gemini super hybrid gearbox, battery technology, electric drive technology, Xiongshi Zhiyun 6.0 intelligent cockpit technology, intelligent driving technology and Galaxy ecology, forming an indestructible "technical siege".
