Research by the Australian Cancer Center shows that the more times men ejaculate between the ages of 20 and 50, the lower the probability of developing prostate cancer. This cancer kills 500,000 people every year.
A study of 1079 prostate cancer patients and 1259 healthy men showed that the probability of masturbation or sexual intercourse among men in their twenties decreased by one third.
Giles, who led the research team, said yesterday: Men can't do this in their fifties.
But he said: masturbation is not bad for you. I don't believe in blind or hairy palms. There is no scientific basis for banning masturbation.
This study was conducted from 1994 to 1998 to investigate the sexual love and masturbation habits of the respondents. The respondents' answers were analyzed, and the analysis is still in progress.
Giles pointed out that this study found that semen may have carcinogenic effect on cells of prostate duct, and if semen is not discharged frequently, it may lead to cancer.
Frequent ejaculation can prevent semen from accumulating in the prostate duct, which may become a carcinogen. He pointed out that semen concentration of 600 times will cause cancer. Semen is a strong liquid containing many chemicals. Because of its biological reaction, it may cause cancer when idle.
