Interpretation of rural medical insurance policy

Economic difficulties have become the main obstacle for farmers to obtain medical care services, and the inability to pay medical expenses has a more obvious impact on sick farmers in poor areas. In response, the national government has launched a new rural medical insurance policy. When did the new rural insurance policy begin?

According to the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee, the State Council decided to launch a new rural social endowment insurance (hereinafter referred to as the new rural social endowment insurance) pilot in 2009.
