Internship gives us a good opportunity to exercise, let us solve problems when we find them, and pave the way for nurses. We should not only learn to be a nurse, but also learn how to be a good nurse. The following is a summary of my internship in nursing college. Welcome to reading.
Summary of nursing college internship 1 Time flies, and ten months of internship life ended in a blink of an eye. Practice is the first step for us to apply theory to practice and clinic. In this process, I have gained a lot. The following is my self-introduction to this practice:
I am an intern in XX City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to the requirements and regulations of schools and hospitals, I went to seven departments to study, including internal medicine, internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, ENT, emergency and orthopedics. During the internship, I will abide by the laws and regulations of the hospital and all departments of the hospital, respect teachers, unite with comrades, be strict with myself, and strive not to be late, not to leave early, not to be absent from work without reason, and not to leave my post without permission. I am kind to patients and have a good attitude. I try my best to apply my theoretical knowledge and basic skills to practice. In this process, I constantly sum up my clinical experience, strive to improve my ability to think independently, solve problems independently and work independently, and cultivate my lofty thoughts and good professional ethics of serving the people wholeheartedly. After ten months of practice, I have mastered the writing of medical documents such as course records, consultation records and discharge records. Master the characteristics of clinical departments and the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequent patients in various departments; Master the normal values and clinical significance of common examinations and the preliminary treatment of various dangerous, serious and urgent patients. The learning tasks of all departments were successfully completed, and no medical errors and medical accidents occurred.
In addition, as a preparatory party member, I got in touch with the Party branch of the internship hospital, which ensured that I could continue to absorb the Party's education and keep moving closer to the Party organization after leaving school without cultivating people's vision. During this period, I actively participated in political study, business study and various activities organized by internship units and departments, which made my internship life more substantial and meaningful.
In a word, I am satisfied with my performance during my internship and full of confidence in my future work. I sincerely hope that you will give me more valuable opinions and suggestions to help me make greater progress!
Summary of Nursing College Practice 2. I am a xx-level nursing student in Class 10 of ordinary care. After two years of theoretical knowledge study, according to the needs of study, the school arranged for us to study clinical practice for 10 months.
20xx entered xx Hospital in July and carried out clinical nursing practice 10 month. Clinical practice is the consolidation and strengthening of theoretical learning stage, the training and exercise of nursing skill operation, and the exercise stage before our employment. Here, I would like to thank xx Hospital of xx City for providing me with such a good internship environment and various excellent internship conditions, and also thank all the teachers for their concern and hard guidance, so that I can have such a good opportunity to exercise myself before I set foot on my job.
During the internship in the hospital, according to the careful arrangement of the nursing department, we took turns to practice in several departments such as surgery and internal medicine.
The first stop of my internship is cardiology, and our internship time is two months. Because this is my first internship department, I am full of curiosity and expectation. When I first entered the ward, my mind was blank and everything seemed so fresh. When we first went, the head nurse arranged a tutor for us. The tutor first familiarized us with the environment here, and then explained the rules and regulations of the department to us. In the first few days, I still felt strange and puzzled. As a student, I feel either standing or sitting. Fortunately, my tutor is very kind to me, explaining everything to us and letting us do some things. Slowly, we became familiar with the procedures here. In these two months, we have studied the knowledge about the heart, understood the working nature of the department, and got familiar with the pathological situation of each patient. During the two-month internship, I can basically carry out intravenous infusion alone. Basic nursing operations such as various injections. And learned the use of ECG.
The second department is neurosurgery, where I practice. As a student, I rest in front of the head nurse and the tired teachers in the department. I feel really tired and tired, and my whole body aches. After work, I went back to my apartment and fell asleep. Physical and mental exhaustion.
When I first entered the surgical ward, I always felt at a loss. However, with the pace of time, the environment has become familiar, and learning has gradually entered a formal track. In the ward internship stage of each department, I know the most about various diseases and their commonly used therapeutic drugs, such as the usage and dosage of drugs. Master the basic operation of all kinds of nursing.
The ultimate goal of practice is to cultivate good operating skills and improve various nursing abilities. Therefore, under the teaching principle of "let go, don't look around and don't worry about looking around", actively strive for every exercise opportunity, such as catheterization, gastric tube insertion, bed bath, oral care, intravenous infusion, muscle injection and other basic nursing operations.
I know that the job of a nurse is very heavy and messy. Although I felt something before I entered the clinic, I really felt more deeply after I entered the ward. Indeed, the work of nurses is very fragmentary and messy, which can be said to be humble, but through the incomprehension of most people, we find that nurses have their unique charm. Hospitals cannot live without nurses, which shows the importance of nurses. Doctors can't do without nurses, patients can't do without nurses, and the whole environment can't do without nurses. This kind of trivial work has a complete system, which can be described as "the sparrow is small and complete", and it is precisely because of this that it can play its unique role and produce an indispensable role. Because of clinical practice, I have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of nursing work and a more detailed understanding of this industry. The second gain from entering the clinic is to correctly understand nursing, establish correct professional ethics and develop a good working attitude.
This department is a turning point for me. It taught me a lot, let me know that as a nurse, I should not only learn the most basic acupuncture, but also know many things such as catheterization, enema, sputum aspiration and nasal feeding.
In the following months of internship, I learned a lot and added some new ideas and feelings. In my opinion, the profession of nurse is ordinary but great. A good nurse should have good moral and professional qualities, be patient, careful and bold. Nurses will be respected by patients, but they will often suffer indignities and suffer losses, but they should also smile at patients. The head nurse often teaches me that we nurses are also in the service industry. Even if we are tired and angry again, we should always have a smile on our faces. At first, I didn't care about this sentence, and even felt a little disgusted, but now in several departments, I heard that I was very busy and tired. But I am still looking forward to it. After all, I can learn something, which is my purpose. In the later department, I just felt different. I'm busy, I'm full and I've learned a lot. Both the teacher and the head nurse patiently taught me knowledge and taught me bit by bit in practice. All the patients in this ward need absolute bed rest, so our work is also tired, and sometimes the work of family members is difficult to do. During the night shift, the patient should turn over regularly to drain the back and suck sputum. In this 10 month, I feel that I have grown a lot, and the burden on my shoulders suddenly becomes heavy, and I understand that nurses are responsible for patients as well as themselves.
Graduation practice is very important for every student who is about to step out of school and enter the society, especially our nursing graduates, facing the fierce market competition in modern society, the new medical nursing model and the increasing awareness of health education service in society. All these put forward new and higher requirements for our graduates. Our graduation practice is to work hard, feel and learn in practical work, and combine theoretical knowledge with practice. Absorbing new knowledge beyond textbooks, in a word, practice is to exercise yourself in practice, constantly enrich and improve yourself, make yourself progress and improve yourself, and become a qualified nurse needed by society and people. Below, I summarize my eight-month graduation internship and experience as follows:
First, the ideological gains.
1: Establish the idea of serving the people and a good work style.
The aim of our party is to serve the people wholeheartedly. For nurses who are about to go to work, how to do a good job of nurses and serve patients well is the best embodiment of serving the people. First of all, we should establish the correct thinking of loving the profession, the hospital and the nursing work, and take care of them with pleasure and pride. Only in this way can we devote ourselves wholeheartedly to infinite nursing work and carry forward good medical ethics. Before graduation practice, the experience of serving patients is not deep enough, and it just stays in concept. Through practice and extensive contact with patients through practical nursing work, I see that patients are recovering from weak diseases and returning to work in a healthy body. The real situation makes me feel the value and significance of our work, because everything we do is an indispensable part of people's lives and is conducive to the healthy survival and sustainable development of mankind. Based on this, I deepened my idea of serving patients better.
2. Establish a "people-oriented" humanistic service concept.
As a nursing student, our nursing work revolves around the admission and discharge of patients. Man is an organism, and always has his various life needs and social needs. On this basis, patients also have requirements for disease treatment and care. In addition to strict operating procedures for implementing doctor's orders and nursing operations, there are many other tasks that are done according to patients' needs. Therefore, how to meet the legitimate needs of patients includes all our work. Worry about the patient's urgency, think about the patient's thoughts, and solve the patient's difficulties. It is our duty to create a good treatment environment and comfortable hospitalization environment for patients, patient and meticulous admission education, warm and cordial language exchange, considerate life care and highly responsible humanistic care. These are the concrete manifestations of our nursing work. The quality of nursing work will be reflected in the daily dribs and drabs. In short, everything is patient-centered and patients are satisfied, which shows that we have done a good job.
Second, the harvest of work.
1, to strictly abide by the rules and regulations and operating procedures.
In the nursing work system, there are "check system", "duty system", "shift system", "execution of doctor's orders", "disinfection and isolation system" and "graded nursing system", and all the operating procedures are clearly defined. In nursing work, if there is no strict discipline and system, it will be fragmented and chaotic, and it will be impossible to ensure and accurately complete the normal work. Rules, regulations and operating procedures are summed up by our medical predecessors in hundreds of years of nursing practice, condensing their valuable thoughts and lessons. These are blood and tears, even with life. Violation of these rules and regulations may delay the examination and treatment of patients or may cause dysfunction to patients. Even lost his life. Therefore, we must strictly abide by it, pay attention to avoid making fewer and no such mistakes, and ensure the quality of medical care to the maximum extent. In this regard, during my internship, I have a profound experience that in the hospital, the busiest time of the day is sometimes the injection room, especially in the peak season. The flow of patients who come for injections is very large, and the hospital is still too busy to send more nurses. In such a working scene, if the system of "three checks and seven pairs" is not strictly observed and seriously implemented, "mistakes are likely to occur.
2. Work hard.
We are "novice" interns, and a lot of knowledge stays in theory, especially in the practical operation of nursing. We are not very skilled. We haven't even touched some things, which is the blind spot of knowledge. Therefore, we must be diligent in our work, that is, diligent observation, diligent opening, diligent walking and diligent hands-on, so as to overcome lazy behavior in life. As the saying goes, "Diligence can make up for mistakes", and "Diligence" in work can be appreciated by hard-working teachers and veteran comrades. "Diligence" can win us more opportunities for study and practice, and "Diligence" can make our nursing skills more skilled.
(1) diligent observation
A, carefully observe and learn the teacher's rigorous work attitude, work arrangement, thoroughness and planning.
B, carefully observe the nursing operation process and. As long as we grasp the opportunity in practice and observe carefully, we will realize the true meaning and our work will be improved soon. For example, my teaching teacher helps patients with injections quickly and well, and is often praised by patients. I often observe them repeatedly, and there are two tricks: first, she grasps the angle of injection quickly; Second, she took the initiative to talk to the patient, which distracted the patient from the injection.
C. Always observe the illness: pay attention to the patients in the ward, with the emphasis on close observation. For example, the observation of patients' condition before and after operation, the observation of various vital signs of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, the observation of curative effects or adverse reactions of various special treatment methods and drugs, etc. Only through observation can we grasp the changes of patients' condition, take effective treatment and nursing measures in time, and control emergencies in the bud. For example, after my internship in obstetrics and gynecology, a pregnant woman's mood fluctuated greatly and often showed a very painful appearance. After our repeated observation, all the vital signs of pregnant women are within the normal range. If so, we judge that it may be caused by anxiety and fear. Through our ideological communication and guidance, pregnant women overcame psychological barriers and left the hospital naturally.
(2) Ask frequently
In the process of our internship, if there is something you don't understand, we should ask frequently and dare to ask, and don't pretend not to understand. As long as we are modest and eager to learn, open our mouths frequently and are not ashamed to ask questions, teachers are willing to teach us good operation methods and good operation concepts. In addition, for classmates and colleagues, we should always speak, talk to each other, communicate orally and help each other. Besides, we need to smile for patients often.
(3) Take a walk frequently
As the saying goes, traveling lightly and walking frequently is not only beneficial to people's physical and mental health, but also beneficial to our nursing work. ; After we finish our daily work, we might as well walk around the ward more. There are three advantages. First of all, it helps us to observe the patient's condition and realize it. The second is to know what patients need and give necessary and normal help in time. Thirdly, due to the weather, medical equipment and special reasons of some patients, there will be some unsatisfactory nursing work. At this time, we can correct and make up in time. In short, it is easy to know the situation by walking often.
(4) diligence
Nursing is a highly technical job, and most of the work needs to be done by hand, such as giving patients injections, drawing blood, taking temperature and blood pressure, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. These work operations pay attention to methods, skills and familiarity. In addition, there are some operations that can't be completed in a day or two, and they also need "a hundred days of work." So don't be afraid of trouble, persevere, do more and practice again and again. As the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect" is the truth. In short, as long as we adhere to the "four diligence" in nursing practice, we will learn a lot.
For example, during my internship in internal medicine, I basically mastered various methods of making beds, injection methods, oral medication methods and atomizing inhalation operations, and learned about the care of common diseases, such as stomach diseases, peptic ulcer, liver cirrhosis, upper gastrointestinal bleeding and so on. , as well as the dosage, route of administration, function and side effects of commonly used drugs and matters needing attention in medication. In surgery and operating room, I learned about the rescue and cooperation of critically ill patients and the common diseases in the surgical system. Frequently-occurring diseases and clinical manifestations, understanding of preoperative and postoperative care, preparation of surgical items, preparation of surgical personnel, patient care and aseptic operation. In obstetrics and gynecology, I have basically understood the structure and physiological functions of the female reproductive system, such as the causes and clinical manifestations of common gynecological diseases and frequently-occurring diseases, and learned the operation of vaginal irrigation and perineal irrigation, as well as the care of puerperal women and newborns.
In pediatrics, we know the etiology, clinical manifestations and treatment principles of common diseases in children, the operation of bathing, changing diapers and preparing milk, and the nursing of common and frequently-occurring diseases in pediatrics. In the emergency department, be familiar with the layout, setup and management system of emergency department and ICU, and understand the duties of nurses on duty and how to disinfect, use and set drugs. Basically familiar with the evaluation of shock, massive hemorrhage, acute poisoning and some diseases, as well as the use of medical equipment such as monitors and ventilators.
3, do a good job of writing nursing documents.
The writing quality of nursing documents can reflect the comprehensive quality of a nurse. In nursing documents, you can see your understanding of the overall situation of patients, the interpretation and understanding of doctor's orders, the decision-making ability and methods to solve problems by using what you have learned according to your illness, and the subjective initiative and standardization in the process of executing doctor's orders. Similarly, nursing documents are also written files and legal basis for patients' hospitalization process. Therefore, the writing of nursing documents must be realistic and standardized, so that the lintel column is complete, the handwriting is neat and clear, the writing and language are fluent, the medical terms are used correctly, and the records are true and accurate.
Graduation practice is short and precious, which lays the foundation and preparation stage for us to go to work, but it is only the first step we take at the starting line. In the future work, we still need to be modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and rashness, study hard and innovate, in order to make greater progress in our work.
