The purpose of the procuratorate's inquiry is to comprehensively and objectively examine the case, ensure the vital interests of the parties and make a fair judgment.
When examining a case, the people's procuratorate must find out whether the facts and circumstances of the crime are clear, whether the evidence is true and sufficient, whether the nature of the crime and the determination of the charges are correct, whether there are missing crimes and other people who should be investigated for criminal responsibility, and whether criminal responsibility should not be investigated.
