Early childhood education should not be biased towards primary schools.

At present, the tendency of primary school in early childhood education is increasingly prominent, which is very worthy of attention. In the investigation, the author found that some preschool classes offered several basic courses, requiring children to know Chinese characters, learn addition and subtraction, and recite English words. They even copy the evaluation criteria of primary school students, assign homework, evaluate scores, and some even take final exams, turning preschool education into primary education, euphemistically calling it "Don't let children lose at the starting line". Many parents are also proud of how many words and poems their children can know in infancy, and they can't wait for their children to finish learning primary school textbooks. Not only that, but during the kindergarten holiday, children are also allowed to participate in various training classes, which makes them overwhelmed. This phenomenon is a serious violation of the law of early childhood education, which is very unfavorable to the healthy growth of young children and should be highly valued.

Preschool education is elementary, which goes against the spirit of the Guiding Outline of Kindergarten Education and the Regulations on Kindergarten Management. The "Outline" and "Regulations" clearly point out that kindergartens "should take games as the basic form of activities". Early childhood education is formative education, the purpose of which is to cultivate children's good living habits and hygiene habits. In particular, we should avoid the tendency of attaching importance to knowledge and skills and neglecting emotion, sociality and practical ability. The tendency of primary education in early childhood artificially restricts children's nature, damages children's mental health, makes children feel disgusted and bored with learning from an early age, seriously violates the law of children's growth and development, hinders children's imagination and creativity, and may even have a negative impact on their future study and life.

Some parents are eager to cultivate their children's success and encourage them to grow up. In particular, some rural parents do not know enough about the law of children's growth, know little about the scientific nature of early education, and lack a sense of identity with the basic principle of "taking games as the main form of activities" in early childhood education. It is believed that children go to kindergarten for reading, reading and doing homework. If children can read more books in early childhood, they feel that the quality of kindergartens is high; If children just play games in kindergarten, don't recite poems or do their homework, they think that kindergarten is not doing well and complain that the teacher's work is not in place. This impetuous psychology, which violates the law and is eager for success, has brought great pressure to the teaching activities of kindergartens.

Parents' psychological needs have to be considered if kindergartens are to continue. Private kindergartens, in particular, will face bankruptcy if they fail to meet the parents' requirements. Therefore, we have to passively meet the market demand, take reading, writing and calculation as the main contents of preschool education against our will, and are forced to move closer to the direction of primary school. In this way, preschool education only pays attention to literacy and arithmetic ability, but ignores the development of intelligence and the cultivation of interest, which inhibits children's lively nature and misses the best opportunity to shape a sound personality and develop good habits.

To change the tendency of primary school education, parents and the whole society need to form a * * * understanding, and actively advocate and successfully demonstrate. First of all, the majority of preschool teachers should arrange teaching in strict accordance with the guiding outline of kindergarten education, and the education administrative department should strengthen supervision and inspection, scientifically formulate the development plan of preschool education, strengthen the management guidance of preschool education institutions, and improve the supervision, evaluation and monitoring system. Strengthen the training of preschool teachers, conscientiously run demonstration parks and backbone parks, and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of preschool education. Parents of young children should establish a new concept of education and knowledge, make clear the goal orientation of early childhood education, understand the law of children's growth and development, and deeply understand the scientific truth of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude step by step. In particular, we should respect the growth characteristics of young children and don't impose a set of adults on them. Avoid "encouraging children" and downplay the idea of primary education. For the sake of children's tomorrow, let's work together to promote early childhood education on a scientific and correct track.
