Illustrate the benefits of mental health education to the growth of college students with examples.
The mental health of college students can not be ignored. In April this year, a 2000-year-old girl from a university in Heilongjiang Province committed suicide by jumping off a building. The girl from the countryside wrote down her "ugliness" and poor study in her suicide note, trying to get rid of the real pain by committing suicide. But she didn't die, she didn't get rid of her inner pain, and she was disabled for life ... Not long ago, a female college student smiled and told reporters something as incredible as the bear injury in Liu Haiyang, Tsinghua: a group of her classmates were going to throw a kitten from the dormitory, and she said, "You are so cruel!" However, this has not affected the "interest" of these college students at all. I wonder if they are just listening to kittens ... The mental health of college students has gradually become the focus of social attention. Some college students drop out of school because of psychological problems, and some abnormal or vicious incidents such as suicide and murder are reported in newspapers from time to time. At the beginning of this year, the bear injury incident in Liu Haiyang reached its climax. People can't help asking-what's wrong with college students now! Professor Cui Jianhua, who is in charge of mental health education at Heilongjiang University, said that college students in China seem to have mixed feelings at present. Happily, they have strong independence and the ability of self-management, learning and development. What is worrying is that their mental state is closely related to the mental health of China people in the whole social background. All kinds of social atmosphere constantly affect the original pure university campus, which is no longer a pure land, and the psychological problems of college students become very concentrated and prominent. It is understood that at present, many colleges and universities in China conduct personality questionnaires when freshmen enter school every year, and then divide students into three categories: A, B and C. Students with no problems are classified as C, students with little problems are classified as B, and students with outstanding problems are classified as A. The survey results of many schools show that students of A and B account for more than 15% of all freshmen. According to the statistics of a university in Heilongjiang Province, there are twenty or thirty students who go to the mental health center for consultation every week. In a large number of psychological counseling in schools every year, senior students account for about half. According to the analysis of Pei, the psychological counseling center of Harbin Institute of Technology, the psychological problems of college students can be roughly divided into two categories: one is the general psychological problem of growing up, which is not serious but has psychological obstacles, which is the main problem of college students' psychological existence; The other is the emergence of psychological barriers to varying degrees. The psychological problems of growth mainly include: environmental changes and psychological adaptation, psychological problems caused by improper debugging of learning psychology, emotional control, self-cognition, personality development, and psychological and behavioral deviations caused by relatively weak forging ability of will quality. Experts believe that there are many reasons for college students' mental health problems, among which interpersonal communication ranks first, but sex and love are the most serious harm. First of all, in interpersonal communication, most college students are now only children. Because of their pampered life and smooth study, they seldom suffer setbacks, poor independent living ability, the gap between college life and dreams, and the differences in classmates' lives, they are prone to psychological instability. Secondly, in terms of sex and love, the open campus makes sex and love an important topic in college life, and some students find it difficult to grasp themselves, and once problems arise, they may go to extremes. Thirdly, in study, many college students stand out in the tense college entrance examination and want to relax when they get to college. However, when high flyers in the past got together, some students lost their advantages and their study pressure increased. The survey shows that the study pressure of science students is more prominent than that of liberal arts students. Fourthly, the severe employment situation has brought new pressure to college students. In recent years, the one-time employment rate of college students has decreased year by year. According to experts' prediction, it will be more difficult for college students to find jobs in the future because they will start enrolling students and graduate next year. At present, the psychological education of college students in China has entered a period of all-round development. One-third of colleges and universities have established psychological health education institutions for college students, and psychological counseling centers in some colleges and universities have reached a considerable scale and level. They have carried out psychological salons, psychological exchanges and other activities to publicize the necessity of college students' mental health, and a number of professional mental health education and psychological counseling teams are gradually growing. At the same time, college students themselves are aware of the importance of mental health. "5.25" College Students' Mental Health Festival came into being under this background. Many college students spontaneously set up student psychological clubs, and some students also wrote and performed psychological dramas to pursue and advocate the new trend of mental health. Ren Xiaoping, vice-chairman and secretary-general of Heilongjiang College Students' Psychological Counseling Research Association, said that college students' mental health education is a social systematic project, and schools, families and society should cooperate closely to make mental health education and psychological counseling play a greater role in college students' growth. Schools should create and optimize a healthy, positive and enterprising campus cultural environment, promote the formation of a good school spirit, style of study and a United and friendly interpersonal atmosphere, and form a group mental health environment. Secondly, the development of mental health education should also combine foreign scientific theories with China's national conditions, create a mental health education model for college students with China characteristics, and fully combine it with moral education, traditional culture education and talent education. More importantly, our whole society should face up to the mental health problems of college students. Parents and our basic education should strengthen the mental health education of primary and secondary school students from an early age and enhance their abilities of self-education, self-management, self-service and self-discipline.
