With the improvement of people's living standards, the requirements of companies or departments for their employees are becoming more and more strict. Health certificate is the main document to prove people's health status. Experts say whether hepatitis B carriers can apply for health certificates. If the liver function and physical indicators are normal, hepatitis B carriers can apply for a health certificate. However, hepatitis B carriers are not allowed to engage in or contact the work of eating food directly. If hepatitis B carriers have liver function and are positive for hepatitis B virus, it means that hepatitis B carriers are also highly contagious. For such hepatitis B carriers, they need to go to the hospital for treatment and observation. In this case, experienced experts have introduced that hepatitis B carriers cannot engage in or contact with direct food intake, so they cannot apply for health certificates. According to Chinese laws, food producers and operators must have a health check-up every year. Even new and temporary food operators must have a health check-up before taking part in the work. According to the law of our country, there is no need to check the five items of hepatitis B in the current health certificate, which means that hepatitis B patients with normal liver function can get a health certificate, so the employment discrimination against hepatitis B virus carriers should be eliminated.
Liver function is abnormal and HBV-DNA is positive (indicating that hepatitis B virus is in a high replication stage). In this case, patients with hepatitis B and big sanyang are highly contagious, and they can't get a health certificate, so they need active treatment. Only when the liver function is normal and HBV DNA is stable can they get a health certificate.
Legal basis: Paragraph 2 of Article 34 of the Food Safety Law stipulates: "Food production and marketing personnel shall have an annual health examination and obtain a health certificate before they can take part in the work."
