So in this case, do consumers choose a cheaper fitness wristband with vertical function, or choose Gear Fit with a certain smart watch function? If Gear Fit can meet all needs, then why launch Gear 2?

Obviously, Gear Fit is a multi-functional and multi-positioning product, but the common fault of such products is "wide but not deep". Samsung's original intention may be good: on the basis of simplicity, make a fitness wristband with notification function.
