Guidance of basic nursing knowledge points: principles and procedures of health education

Principles to be followed in health education

In the process of teaching and learning, nurses and students must follow the principle of health education.

(1) A harmonious relationship must be established between nurses and students. In the process of health education, mutual understanding, mutual trust and mutual respect between nursing students have great influence on the educational effect. Nurses should get to know trainees before formal health education, establish good relations with them and win their trust and cooperation.

(2) In health education, nurses can express health knowledge clearly and accurately, and ensure that students can fully understand and master it.

(3) Nurses and students * * * jointly set learning goals and help them achieve the predetermined goals through health education.

(4) In health education, we should choose teaching methods that students are willing to accept and use modern teaching AIDS to enhance the vitality of teaching.

(5) Nurses should have a comprehensive understanding of students and make individualized teaching plans according to the different situations of each student.

Health education program

The process of health education can be divided into five stages:

? Assessment: Assess and determine students' learning needs and factors affecting learning.

? Nursing diagnosis: nursing diagnosis of students' learning needs.

? Planning stage: make an education plan (set educational goals and choose appropriate teaching methods).

? Implementation stage: implementing the teaching plan.

? Evaluation stage: evaluate the teaching process and effect.

estimate

At this stage, nurses can determine students' learning needs and factors affecting learning by collecting relevant information of students.

Learning needs assessment

Nurses judge whether students have learning needs through the following questions.

(1) Whether students need to learn medical skills. take for example

(2) Whether students have to change their lifestyle because of illness. take for example

(3) Whether the trainees know how to find appropriate medical services in case of health problems.

(4) Whether the trainees know the knowledge of the drugs they take and whether they know the doctor's requirements for their diet and activities.

(5) Whether the trainees are familiar with the upcoming medical examination, treatment or operation.

Evaluation of factors affecting learning: factors affecting learning are divided into internal factors and external factors.

(1) internal factor evaluation:

① Learning motivation: When students realize their learning needs and believe that they can meet their own needs through learning, they have a strong desire to learn. Nurses should help students realize their learning needs.

② Cultural background: Understand students' cultural level, health beliefs, beliefs and customs in different cultural backgrounds. These factors all affect students' diet, health, diseases and lifestyle, and will also affect the effect of health education.

③ Support system: refers to people who have great influence on students and are helpful to their study. These people's values and health beliefs will affect students, and health education will help students form healthy behaviors.

(4) Economic conditions: Economic conditions will also affect students' learning, and nurses should give guidance that meets their needs according to their different economic conditions. take for example

⑤ Learning readiness: refers to students' adaptability to learning in physical, intellectual and psychological aspects. In the evaluation stage, it is necessary to determine whether students and their families are fully prepared for learning, including physical, intellectual and psychological aspects.

(2) Evaluation of external factors: Health education needs to evaluate the above factors and consider whether the temperature, humidity, light, noise and ventilation in the learning place are conducive to learning; Whether the education time is the time when students need health knowledge, but also to complete the teaching plan in enough time; Whether nurses can express health knowledge in the language accepted by students.

Nursing diagnosis

On the basis of understanding students' learning needs and the factors that affect their learning, make a diagnosis of their learning needs. There are two ways to express the nursing diagnosis related to students' learning needs established by the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association:

(1) "Lack of knowledge: lack of knowledge".

(2) "The danger of ...: It is related to the lack of ... knowledge.
