Chinese version of internal -VFQ 25 scale and its specific scoring criteria

Visual function and quality of life questionnaire (vision related? Quality? Yes? Life? And then what? Vision? Function) was developed by the National Ophthalmology Institute of the United States during the clinical verification of cataract surgery in Indian Eye Hospital. After translation, reverse translation and comparative cultural adjustment, a Chinese questionnaire was formed. The questionnaire consists of two parts, the first part is the visual function questionnaire, and the second part is the quality of life questionnaire.

Visual function questionnaire is used to measure the quality of life of specific vision, such as stereoscopic vision, light adaptation and dark adaptation. Quality of life questionnaire is used to measure the overall quality of life, including self-care, activity, socialization and psychology.

The visual function questionnaire consists of 13 questions, and measures the following indicators: (1) the limitation of daily activities related to vision, questions 2, 3, 4 and 5; (2) Peripheral vision, question 6; (3) Sensory adaptation, including light and shade adaptation, visual seeking, color discrimination and flicker adaptation. The problems reflecting this index are 7a, 7b, 8, 9, 1 1a,11b; (4) Stereoscopic perception, problem 10.

The quality of life questionnaire consists of 12 questions, which mainly measures the following four indicators: self-care ability (taking a bath, eating by yourself, dressing and going to the toilet), activity ability (going to neighbors' houses, shopping and doing housework), social ability (attending social activities such as weddings and festivals, visiting friends) and psychology (being burdened by others, being depressed and lacking confidence in doing things). In the part of self-care ability and activity ability, the emphasis is on vision, and it is not helpful.
