What influence does the development of network language have on China's linguistics and culture?
According to the survey data released by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) in June 2003, as of February 2002, the number of Internet users in China was 5,965,438+10,000. The figure of 5,965,438+10,000 people means that the number of Internet users in China ranks second in the world after the United States. The history of computer science is only more than half a century, and the history of computer network (the word Internet originated in the 1980s) is only 20 years (the real rapid development was in the mid-1990s), but their influence on human life far exceeds any invention in any previous era, and has penetrated into people's daily life, work, study and entertainment. The network has given birth to a new language form-network language. Since 1990 (especially after 1995), China's network language has been gradually created and formed by independent, open, inclusive, diverse and innovative netizen groups-carriers and emails that transmit and exchange information in the special network environment (such as BBS, OICQ and E-mail). There, the expressions of completely ill sentences, numbers, symbols, pinyin, Chinese characters and English letters have become the idioms of netizens, while standardized Chinese has become an alternative expression. Firstly, this paper analyzes the source and composition of network language. The composition of network language is: (1) symbol superposition spectrum is new; (2) digital code homophonic language; (3) English terms and sentences; (4) Self-created British minimalism; (5) Self-created Pinyin Minimalist Abbreviations; (6) Chinese homophonic words; (7) Borrowing animal names; (8) Chinese homonym replacement; (9) New meanings of traditional words; (10) Campus buzzwords in Hong Kong and Taiwan; (1 1) modal expression; (12) new words; (13) network literature works or classic sentences of A Chinese Odyssey as passwords; (14) online pen names (online nicknames, screen names), and so on. The root of the emergence of network language comes from: (1) saving time and internet cost; (2) Disdaining tradition and advocating innovation; (3) Publicize personality and attract others' attention; (4) Concealing personal identity, age, gender and language habits. Then it puts forward that we should treat the emergence and development of network language correctly: face up to network language, study network language, criticize uncivilized and unhealthy things in network language and guide the healthy development of network language. Then it analyzes some network syndromes (personality disorder, network dementia (game addiction), onlineness, chat syndrome) in the new generation network, and discusses the influence of the Internet on contemporary youth. The influence of the Internet on contemporary youth is as follows: (1) The Internet will fundamentally change the thinking, behavior and lifestyle of contemporary youth; (2) The communication characteristics of computer network will weaken teenagers' moral consciousness; (3) The directness and visualization of network culture have a great influence on teenagers' way of thinking; (4) The concealment of the Internet will lead to the increase of immoral behavior and illegal and criminal behavior of teenagers; (5) The globalization of the Internet makes the spread of cultural networks the main reason for the conflict between young people's outlook on life and prices; (6) Accompanying products such as "Internet addiction" and "onlineness" caused harm and threat to teenagers' physical and mental health and study; (7) The demonstration of the Internet will have a negative impact on teenagers' love and marriage (such as online dating, puppy love, falling in love with several people at the same time, etc.). ).
