I am a primary school head teacher. With concern and love for students' mental health, I attended the third C-certificate qualification training meeting for mental health teachers in primary and secondary schools in Longwan District in July. The training invited mental health education experts from all over the country, including Zhou Hongwu, Zhong Zhinong, Xu and Pang Hongwei. The training contents include mental health and school mental health education, class group counseling to cultivate students' positive personality, positive psychology and teachers' mental health.
During the training, I listened to many experts' wonderful lectures, and they all explained the charm of mental health with vivid examples. Through theoretical study, group discussion and self-analysis, we realize that mental health education is the basic education to improve students' psychological quality, and at the same time, we also realize that strengthening psychological education for students can reduce or even eliminate the occurrence of students' psychological problems. Through training, I also realized that the role of teachers, especially class teachers, is irreplaceable to achieve the goal of improving students' quality and promoting the sound development of students' personality. Therefore, during the training and study these days, I have done a good job in every class, made notes and learned the knowledge of mental health, helping my classmates to study better and live a better life!
Mental health training, like a cool breeze in summer, swept away my troubles, like a clear spring on the mountain, nourished my wandering mind several times, like the first ray of sunshine breaking through the fog, which made me suddenly enlightened!
Teacher Zhong Zhinong's lecture kept my eyes fixed on the big screen. His guidance to class groups is unique. His methods, skills and strategies are worth learning from. In the lecture, Mr. Zhong said: The important theme of students' development in primary school is to cultivate a diligent, positive and enterprising attitude towards study and life. "Make progress every day" is an innate talent of human beings. It is not difficult to find that the faces of the first-grade pupils are full of excitement, expectation and hope for the new school and new life. In class, every child holds his little hand high and tries to answer questions. However, six years later, these energetic children's faces are full of inferiority and helplessness. The fundamental reason is that there is something wrong with our school and family education. The negative comments of parents and teachers make these children feel inferior, self-deprecating and passive.
Hearing this, I can't help thinking of a student I once taught. His grades are at the bottom of the class, and he is often in arrears with his homework. He is the kind of underachiever who is a headache. In view of this situation, I often criticize him in front of my classmates. Over time, under my strict education, his grades have dropped a lot. But a year later, I found that my child's grades rose steadily (I reread for a year because of unsatisfactory grades at that time), which was already the middle level in my class. I'm confused. In retrospect, I finally understand why. If I could turn back the clock, I would criticize less and listen more. Squat down and listen to the child's voice and help him solve the problem. Therefore, this counseling has led me out of a misunderstanding, that is, there is a great difference between preaching and counseling. It can be said that this training is not only useful for my psychological health education class, but also very beneficial to the work of the class teacher, with less criticism and more guidance.
The "strengthening" step in the cultivation of Mr. Zhong's family study habits also made me feel refreshed. Before that, I never realized how important it was to set a time for students to finish their homework. Children in the lower grades of primary school have no sense of time, and usually have to extend their 40-minute homework to two or three hours. This situation will lead the child to form the habit of procrastination, which will be harmful to his future study and life. Strengthening methods such as evaluating how many minutes the homework is completed and completing the homework independently in a closed environment can effectively change the situation of students' homework procrastination, and also provide a good counseling method for our front-line teachers to cultivate family study habits, which has benefited us a lot.
Although the time of this mental health training is only about 10 days, it has aroused ripples in my heart. I believe this training has given me more than just theoretical knowledge of psychology. It will have a continuity, which will affect my life, my work and my life ... accepting challenges again and again will make me more confident and comfortable!
Mental health education is still in the initial stage of study and exploration, but I believe it will definitely help me solve many difficult problems in my work. As long as we make unremitting efforts, we will surely usher in a bright future of mental health education in schools!
As it happens, the first day of the training of provincial art backbone teachers happens to be Teacher's Day. We were very lucky to hear the lecture on mental health given by Han Xuerong, a national second-level consultant. Through years of investigation and research on teachers' psychology, Mr. Han summarized and sorted out various problems and different types of cases encountered in our teachers' daily work, and analyzed and explained them for us in simple terms. She analyzed the healthy psychology that a teacher must have from the aspects of teacher's pressure and frustration, emotion, personality, health and cognition.
Through study, I realized the importance of teachers' mental health. Teachers are the promoters of mental health education in schools. A successful teacher should not only have profound knowledge and superb teaching skills, but also have a sound personality and noble character. Teachers' words and deeds have a great influence on students, especially on junior students. In their minds, teachers are wise-they know everything; This is everything.-everything. Teachers' clothes, etiquette, manners, etc. Will have a far-reaching impact on students. Teachers with sound personality can create a harmonious and warm atmosphere in the classroom and make students feel relaxed and happy, while teachers with poor personality can only create a tense or scary atmosphere in the classroom.
Through learning, I know that teachers should be good at their own psychological adjustment and health care, know themselves and see their own advantages and disadvantages; Learn to master the methods of psychological adjustment and learn to relieve psychological pressure; Adjust emotions and maintain psychological balance; Be good at choosing your own happy angle to think and deal with problems and establish good interpersonal relationships; Cultivate a variety of hobbies and cultivate sentiment. Teachers should always use the image of "winning without arrogance and losing with grace" to motivate students to pursue Excellence. In the face of setbacks and failures, teachers should be well-deserved strong, learn to reflect, gain valuable lessons from reflection, and establish new direction of struggle and life goals. Only in this way can teachers devote themselves to teaching activities with positive and healthy enthusiasm.
Therefore, it is very important for teachers to learn psychological adjustment, to "be contented", "look at the problem from another angle", "change their psychological position" and "vent reasonably". To borrow a word from teacher Han, "We can't change the length of life, but we can expand its width;" We can't change our looks, but we can show our smiles. We can't do everything well, but we can have no regrets. "
In short, the purpose of teaching is to teach and educate people. In order to make students form a healthy psychology, teachers should constantly improve their personality and enhance their personality charm. I think these will be my motivation to work harder, and I will apply the experience gained from my study to my teaching work.
