Performance evaluation results of national tertiary public hospitals in 2022

On June 8th, 2024, 65438+20241October 8th, the performance appraisal management platform of public hospitals of the National Health and Wellness Committee announced the performance appraisal results of tertiary public hospitals in 2022. Taking Hunan Province as an example, in 2022, the comprehensive ranking of Hunan Province in the whole country increased by 4 places compared with 202 1. Among them, the proportion of intensive care physicians, outpatient satisfaction, medical staff satisfaction, inpatient satisfaction, balance of payments, medical service income and minimally invasive surgery for discharged patients all rank among the top in China, and new general hospitals 1 family have entered the A+ echelon.

This result shows that the development model, operation model and resource allocation of tertiary public hospitals in Hunan Province have been continuously optimized, and the fairness, accessibility and quality service supply capacity of medical services have been further enhanced.

In 2022, there were 2 1 12 tertiary public hospitals in China, including general hospitals 152 1 and specialized hospitals/59 1. There are 94 tertiary public hospitals in Hunan Province, including 7 general hospitals and 23 specialized hospitals.

Through the comparison of five-year assessment results, the baton of performance assessment of public hospitals across the country has been continuously strengthened. The medical service ability, quality and safety level, medical service efficiency, sustainable development ability, patient satisfaction and public welfare orientation of tertiary public hospitals in Hunan Province have been continuously enhanced.

The role of performance evaluation in public tertiary hospitals;

Guide the development direction of hospitals: By setting a clear evaluation index system, such as medical quality, operational efficiency, sustainable development ability, patient satisfaction, etc., guide tertiary public hospitals to follow the direction of national medical and health policies, optimize resource allocation and service model, and effectively perform their functional positioning in the medical service system.

Improve the quality and efficiency of medical services: Performance appraisal emphasizes the importance of medical quality and safety, which urges hospitals to continuously improve diagnosis and treatment technology and service processes and reduce the incidence of medical errors and complications.

3. Promote the rational use of resources: assessment helps to curb problems such as excessive medical treatment and drug abuse, and urges hospitals to reduce costs, save resources, and achieve refined management and sustainable development.
