Traditional Chinese medicine believes that obesity is a disease with deficiency in essence and excess in essence, and its "excess" is mainly due to water-dampness stagnation and phlegm-blood stasis; Its "deficiency" is mainly qi deficiency and yang deficiency. Whether it is wet water or phlegm and blood stasis, it is yin and cold, and it needs the warmth of yang and the circulation of qi to be excreted. Qi deficiency leads to impotence of rising yang, while yang deficiency leads to no right to warm, which leads to accumulation of water, dampness, phlegm and blood stasis in the body and obesity.
From the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, abdominal obesity is also related to spleen deficiency. Huangdi Neijing calls this kind of obese people "paste people", which has the characteristics of "vertical abdomen, slow skin and weak meat", meaning that the abdomen is vertical, the meat is drooping, the stomach is relaxed and the meat in the stomach is not hard. Among the zang-fu organs, the spleen is mainly responsible for transporting water and dampness. When the spleen is weak, water and dampness cannot be transported in time, resulting in internal stagnation. Stagnation and dampness is a diffuse pathogen. After a long period of stagnation, it will condense and form a relatively viscous pathological pathogen, which is called phlegm in Chinese medicine. After phlegm-dampness accumulates in the body, it will form a stomach with phlegm-dampness accumulation. The same is true for fat people with excessive phlegm.
"Shuo Wen Jie Zi" says: "The spleen governs the storage and recording of faith, and faith is born in the soil." "Spleen governs faith" means that the function of spleen is rhythmic. Regular exercise and diet are the main methods to strengthen the spleen and promote diuresis.
Generally speaking, there are several effective exercises to reduce stomach.
The first is moderate diet. It is a wise choice to eat three meals a day regularly, eat moderately, not overeating, and replace animal ingredients such as lard and butter with nuts and seeds. Often drink Fu Jian tea: 5 grams of raw Atractylodes macrocephala, 5 grams of dried tangerine peel, 5 grams of Poria cocos, 5 grams of Alisma orientale and 5 grams of areca nut, and drink tea after boiling 15-20 minutes.
Followed by "moving is the sun." Muscle exercise can generate a lot of heat, which can warm and tonify spleen yang, so people with spleen yang deficiency can exercise properly. Walk fast every day: walk fast or alternately for 45-60 minutes every day. On the one hand, it can reduce abdominal fat, on the other hand, it will not make people exercise excessively. Moderate intensity aerobic exercise: Although excessive exercise is not recommended, exercise still needs a certain intensity. For example, do more sports such as running, cycling and swimming.
Another way is to beat the pulse. The position of the stomach is the intersection of the pulse and the six meridians of the foot, just like a crossroads in the street. If the meridians at the intersection are impassable, local water spots will be formed, and if the garbage cannot be discharged, obesity will be formed. By tapping, you can open the stagnant water point and discharge the garbage. The method is to cross the waist from the front of the navel to the middle of the lumbar spine for a week, and the intensity should be greater. It is best to have a slight pain or swelling, and knock for about 30 minutes each time. For people who are not fat, but are prone to bloating after eating, taking a pulse for half an hour after meals can help digestion and strengthen the stomach.
