Richness is happiness.
Longing for wealth and hating poverty have been justified since ancient times. Liu Xi in China at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty explained in his book Ming Shi that happiness is "wealth". This is to use homophones to explain "homonyms are synonymous". In folklore, the word "Fu" was once regarded as a "guardian symbol" to stop and drive away "poor gods", and it is said that he holds the list of gods and is in charge of them. His wife was too poor to love the rich. When she was unlucky in Jiang Taigong, she left home. Later, when she saw that Jiang Taigong had power, she came back, not for the second time between husband and wife, but to pester Jiang Taigong to make her a god. Gave her the title of "poor god" and restricted her from seeing people with the word "blessing". On New Year's Eve, people know that in the future, in order to prevent "poor gods" from entering the house, every household will put the word "Fu" on the door. In modern times, some people have figured out from the shape of the word "fu" that it has the meaning of "wealth": "clothes" means clothes to wear; "One" represents the beam of the house, indicating that there is a room to live in; "Mouth" refers to someone; "Tian" means land, there are fields, and it also means work. In other words, if a person has clothes to wear, a house to live in, a job to do, food and clothing, even if he is rich, he is blessed. Judging from this explanation, the standard of wealth contained in the word "rich" refers to the well-off level of home ownership, land ownership to the tiller, adequate food and clothing, and living and working in peace and contentment. Now basically reaching and exceeding the well-off level, it should be said that they are all blessed people.
Avoiding disaster is a blessing.
During the Spring Festival, everyone posted the word "Fu", and the people also had a layer of disaster prevention intention. It is said that this originated from the Ming emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. One year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, Zhu Yuanzhang went out to visit Nanjing incognito. In a small town, he saw many people looking at a picture. He looked carefully and saw a barefoot woman holding a big watermelon. Zhu Yuanzhang thought it was Ma Huanghou who was deliberately laughed at by the people in the town. When he returned to the palace, he ordered the body guard to investigate in the town, and the painters and onlookers should register and prepare to catch and kill. In order to make a good distinction, he asked people to put the word "Fu" on the doors of every household so as not to make people laugh and watch. In this way, people without the word "blessing" will face great disasters. Good Ma Huanghou used his quick wits when he got the news, so that the whole city had to put a "blessing" on the door before dawn. The next day, every household was full of "blessings", and the body guard could not start, and finally eliminated a catastrophe. Since then, when the Spring Festival comes, people have pasted the word "Fu", not only on doors, but also on windows, trees and grain depots, in order to be auspicious and avoid disasters.
Health is a blessing.
Sticking the word "Fu" in the Spring Festival is actually more about the expectation of "Five Blessingg". "Five Blessingg" originated from the explanation of the word "Fu" in Shangshu: "First, longevity, second, wealth, third, Kangning, fourth, Xiu De, and fifth, final exam." In other words, a person's longevity, wealth, health, peace, advocating virtue and dying well are his blessings. Careful analysis reveals that the so-called "Five Blessingg" here, in the final analysis, health is a blessing. Indeed, "health is not everything, but without health, there is nothing." The relationship between "Ti" and "Wuzi" is the relationship between "1" and "0". The "1" of the body is strong and unyielding, and "0" is valuable; If the "1" of the "body" is gone, there will be no more "0". Only those who are physically and mentally healthy can have a good beginning and a good ending in life.
It is a blessing to have wine.
Some people have verified that "Fu" is a cognitive word, and the word "Fu" in Oracle Bone Inscriptions is like holding wine in both hands. It seems hard to understand that wine is a blessing to people today, but in ancient times, wine was indeed a very precious thing. Only dignitaries can afford to drink wine, but generally poor families can't afford it. Moreover, wine is closely related to festivals and celebrations, and wine is a festive thing. When was wine invented? Archaeologists found the raw materials and utensils for brewing beer 4000 years ago in the pyramids of Egypt. In China's Book of Songs, it is recorded that our ancestors brewed rice wine more than 3,000 years ago, drank wine to celebrate the harvest and wished a long life. From this perspective, wine has always occupied a very important position in people's lives, so it is very reasonable to regard owning wine as a blessing. A friend once sent me such a short message about wine, which is an interpretation of "having wine is a blessing": no ceremony without wine, no table without wine; No wine is no joy, no wine is no code; No wine is not lyrical, no wine is not inspirational; No wine is not strong, no wine is disrespectful.
