In the test, I was arranged to test "science", mainly to examine children's perception of a group of objects, such as the thickness of books, the thickness of pipes and so on. And ask the children to say the words accurately and express them. I think this test should be relatively simple for children in kindergarten middle class. In fact, the next investigation is not like this.
We selected 5 children from each of the four classes, and 20 children took part in the test. Children's choice is decided according to their student number, which basically covers children of most ages in the class. After the activity started, the children sat in front of me. I put several groups of articles on the table, including several groups of books, pens and straws. As an examiner, I asked the children to carefully observe different groups of objects in front of them, and asked them to tell me the differences between each group of objects.
The children in the first class were tested separately, and it was found that only one child could accurately express the thickness of the book and the thickness of the pipe, and the other children could not express it well, or just said, "This book is thick and that book is not" (this answer cannot be considered correct in the test answer requirements). Some children may be a little nervous and express themselves incorrectly. The test results of Class Two and Class Three are basically the same. But when testing Xiaowen's class, we found that several children in their class performed well, and three children could express words accurately. Of course, Xiaowen also performed very well. It seems that the children in this class are generally better than other classes in science.
After all the children were tested, I made statistics according to the test results. About 30% of the children are excellent, 45% are barely able, and 25% still need to work hard. It can be seen that children's ability development in science is quite different, but this is mainly related to their own personality and family education.
Kindergartens regularly carry out tests on children's development ability and feed back the test results to parents, which is beneficial for both parents to accurately understand the development status of children, give targeted attention and guide children's healthy growth.
