On how to carry out mental health education in rural primary and secondary schools

With the changes brought by social development, primary and secondary education in China has been impacted and challenged. The survey shows that about15 children and adolescents in primary and secondary schools in China have different degrees of psychological problems. Such as being tired of learning, playing truant, surfing the Internet, lying, stealing, cheating, selfish, willful, withdrawn, self-destructive, self-abuse and other explicit and implicit psychological problems. These psychological problems not only affect the healthy development of children and adolescents, but also bring great troubles to daily education and teaching, directly affecting the completion of educational tasks and the realization of goals. Therefore, it is very urgent and significant to carry out mental health education in schools. Mental health education is an educational activity that adopts various methods and measures to maintain individual mental health according to the laws of psychological activities. From the connotation point of view, the primary task of mental health education is to make individuals form healthy psychology, so as to adapt to society and grow and develop normally. This task includes: 1, to help students maintain a normal psychological state and avoid unfavorable psychological state; 2. Help students who have found unfavorable psychological state to get rid of this state in time and return to normal state; 3. Help students with mental health recover. The development of mental health education: First, the school establishes a team of mental health education. To carry out mental health education in an all-round way, it is necessary to establish a mental health education team and improve the consciousness of teachers in all subjects. The school grasps the scientific knowledge about the psychological development of children and adolescents through organizational learning, carries out education work according to scientific laws and methods, and permeates psychological health into the teaching of various subjects, so that students can gradually develop good habits such as self-experience, self-cognition, self-education and self-control in the learning process, establish the relationship of knowing yourself and yourself, mutual assistance and cooperation, and form good psychological quality. Play the role of "moistening things silently". For example, when I help students get rid of the negative psychology of broken pots and falls, I can get all kinds of information from them by talking to them and help them start from the root. So my method is to stimulate their learning motivation with simple questions in class, take encouragement as the medium, stop getting tired of your class, and slowly arouse their interest in the subjects they teach. In addition, perseverance, over time, the psychology of these students will be eliminated. Second, offering mental health education courses With the introduction of quality education, cultivating students' healthy and good psychological quality is also a part of quality education. Therefore, in our teaching schedule, we can't leave the mental health education class, equip professional teachers and determine the specific educational content. For example, gratitude education, emotional education, psychological counseling, interpersonal relationship guidance, sound personality training, self-psychological training guidance, sexual psychological education and so on. Through this series of teaching process to maintain students' healthy psychology. For example, when I was telling senior two students about self-psychological repair, I first played a video with multimedia, about a student with excellent grades, who always used self-mutilation to vent when facing disappointment or failure in exams. Then, let the students discuss the following two questions: 1. Why do the students in the clip hurt themselves? What drove him to do this? The student quickly found the answer, and then I asked: Do we have any solutions to help him in the face of unsuccessful exams or other pressures? Students talk about their own methods one after another. Finally, my students and I summed up the ways to release psychological pressure, so that they can learn how to control their emotions and how to release them, thus helping them learn to cultivate their own psychology. Third, set up a psychological consultation room to give lectures on mental health education. With the advent of the 2 1 century, various factors affecting the psychology of primary and secondary school students, such as various cultures and emotions, have caused certain psychological obstacles to a small number of students, but these students cannot be tutored one by one in the mental health education class. Therefore, we should also set up a psychological counseling room so that they can have psychological problems at any time and consult and solve them at any time. It can not only keep secrets for students, but also encourage people to be afraid to consult for various reasons. Secondly, the psychological counseling room is the center of mental health education, and schools should encourage students to dare to conduct psychological counseling. This requires schools to organize activities to help students understand its existence and use; Establish the consciousness of psychological consultation and give full play to the role of school psychological consultation room. Finally, professional teachers of mental health education should selectively offer some special lectures according to different stages to increase the publicity of mental health education. For example, in the Thanksgiving Education Report held in 2008, our school specially hired psychologist Fang Shanchao. The whole lecture process was very exciting, which triggered the deepest love that students could not express in words, the most difficult feelings to return, the kindness of parents' upbringing, the kindness of teachers' education and so on. They told with tears that we should learn to be grateful. Fourth, strengthen the relationship between "school, society and family" and promote mental health education. Besides school education, the development of students' mental health is also restricted by other social factors. Among them, parents are important figures in the growth and development of students, and their understanding and concept of mental health education directly affect the development of students' mental health and the development of school psychological education. For example, parents in rural primary and secondary schools have a low level of education, and migrant workers account for a large proportion. Students are brought up by grandparents, and their mental health education is neglected. In addition, various social phenomena, public opinion, film and television culture, media and other social factors also directly affect the development of students' mental health and the development of school mental health education. It can be seen that mental health education is not only the task of schools, but also the task of society. Therefore, we should not only mobilize social forces to support mental health education, but also get the support and participation of parents to develop students' mental health.
