How to play the important role of leisure sports in improving the quality of life

It regulates body and mind through the consumption of time and energy, and obtains emotional experience from it. Leisure sports is a way of life and communication in modern civilized society. People actively and happily engage in some physical activities in this leisure way, realize their self-worth and improve their quality of life. With the continuous improvement of material living standards and the modernization of students' learning methods, college students will have more leisure time to experience healthy and beneficial leisure activities. Leisure sports is of great significance to enrich their after-school life and promote their physical and mental health. Therefore, this paper is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the importance of leisure sports to health, the second part discusses the physical and mental health of modern college students, and the third part discusses the importance of cultivating college students' view of leisure sports health. 1. Leisure sports promote people's health and all-round development. The World Health Organization believes that health is a state of perfect body and mind and good social adaptability, not just a state of no disease and weak body. A person is completely healthy only if he is sound in four aspects: physical health, mental health, good social adaptability and moral health. Therefore, health refers to the dynamic balance between the body and the natural environment and social environment, which is the perfect state of the body, spirit and society [6]. 1. Leisure sports promote health. Leisure sports promote the health of human organs. Movement is the form of existence and development of all things, and life lies in movement, or rather, life lies in movement. Exercise improves cerebral circulation and oxygen supply, provides more nutrition and oxygen for brain nerve cells, enhances the functions of various organs in life, improves the tolerance of various systems, and enables people to have a healthy body. Physical exercise can stimulate and enhance the function of immune system. Leisure exercise is generally aerobic exercise. The so-called aerobic exercise means that the exercise needs to be carried out at a certain intensity in order to inhale enough oxygen to continue the exercise. Regular exercise can reduce serum cholesterol and triglycerides, increase blood lipid concentration, help prevent and control hypertension, and promote cardiovascular activities. 2. Leisure sports promote mental health. First of all, leisure exercise helps to regulate tension. Today's world is a fast-paced and efficient society, which inevitably brings a lot of tension and pressure to people and also causes bad emotions. Nervous mood will reduce and inhibit human immune function, while good mood and stable mood are conducive to maintaining and promoting the stability of human function. Leisure sports activities have the functions of regulating human tension, improving physical and psychological state and helping to restore physical strength and energy. Second, it helps to promote interpersonal communication. Leisure sports is not only the carrier of leisure and fitness, but also the lubricant to eliminate loneliness, expand communication, enhance emotional communication and make friends. Through leisure sports, people can get to know many people of different identities, ages and genders, enrich their spiritual life and enhance their emotional communication. No matter among colleagues in schools, enterprises, families and units, leisure sports have become an effective way for people to communicate emotionally. It can be said that leisure sports have become an emotional bridge between people in a sense. 3. Leisure sports promote social harmony. Once leisure sports become the use form of leisure time among colleagues, neighbors or family members, the communication and interaction between them will be realized. In this kind of communication and interaction in the form of physical exercise, everyone's personality and intelligence are publicly disclosed and displayed, and thoughts are exchanged in a relaxed and happy way, which induces emotional vibration, eliminates barriers, bridges cracks, strengthens team spirit and family concept, and creates a harmonious social and family atmosphere.
