According to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, browsing bad websites is a general illegal act of accessing bad information on the Internet, which is not enough to constitute a crime and will not be punished by public security.

Whoever makes, transports, copies, sells or rents obscene books, periodicals, pictures, movies, audio-visual products and other obscene articles or uses computer information networks, telephones and other communication tools to disseminate obscene information shall be detained for more than 10 days and less than 15 days, and may also be fined less than 3,000 yuan; If the circumstances are minor, they shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than five hundred yuan.
Article 69
Whoever commits one of the following acts shall be detained for more than 10 and less than 15, and fined for more than 500 yuan and less than 1000 yuan:
(1) Organizing the broadcasting of obscene audio and video;
(2) Organizing or performing obscene performances;
(three) to participate in the activities of gathering people for fornication.
Whoever knowingly provides conditions for others to engage in the activities mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Second, will surfing unhealthy websites be caught by network police?
Browsing bad websites in private space will not be caught by network police. Obtaining obscene information is illegal and may be warned by public security organs, but generally it will not be punished and personal freedom will not be restricted by the police. However, it should be noted that those who produce, transport, copy, sell, rent or disseminate obscene articles, or organize the broadcast of obscene audio and video may be subject to administrative detention or fines. If there are other serious circumstances, it may even violate the law and bear criminal responsibility.
