From the beginning of 20 1 1 September, members of the department have begun to be familiar with the work of the department. Generally speaking, although there are still many shortcomings in the work we have done this semester, it is basically in place. Because the college itself does not have the major of psychology, and it is the first time to set up a department of mental health, most applicants did not know this knowledge in advance when recruiting new departments, and we also deeply felt the lack of our professional knowledge when carrying out related work. Therefore, in the promotion and popularization of mental health knowledge, we will still encounter many difficulties and feel a little overwhelmed, but we are all trying to overcome them. The following is a summary of what we have learned this semester:
First, recruit new jobs.
At the beginning of September, the recruitment work progressed smoothly. Due to the publicity in place at the mobilization meeting of the "two sessions", there were more people in our department, with 20 people. We arranged two rounds of interviews. The first round of interview: please introduce yourself and answer several questions related to the department; The second round: let the candidates face the podium interview and answer some questions. After two rounds of interviews, we left four people according to the needs of the department. Generally speaking, I am satisfied with the new members I have absorbed. In the process of recruiting new people, we pay great attention to methods and try not to give them too much blow. And address them without their last names, which can eliminate their nervousness. According to their feedback, it is said that this department gives people a very cordial feeling and is very different from other departments. In addition, we will gently point out their mistakes so that they don't feel that they have been inexplicably eliminated, and they won't make similar mistakes in the next interview. We hope that the interview can help them learn something, not simply try. Unfortunately, the interview topic is not so perfect. I hope there will be a better way to brainstorm next time.
Second, the internal construction of the department.
In order to make the future work go smoothly, the first thing is to unite and coordinate all departments, so we didn't rush to start the work at first, but tried our best to make the departments cohesive. Through chatting on the grass and talking about work many times, our relationship is not bad. The members also expressed their love for this kind of free and casual communication, which was very cordial. We became one. Because the initial department construction work was well done, our department had a strong cohesion, and people in other departments showed envy. However, due to the busy work and large number of people, this method has not been used again and needs to be improved. After all, department building is a long-term thing. In the future, we will organize more activities for everyone to get together and enhance their feelings. I hope that even if I am not a colleague, I will still be good friends and will keep in touch frequently.
Third, the daily work of the department.
(1) Daily meeting.
Call a meeting of eight freshmen * * * psychological committee members and departmental committee members to understand the situation of each class and arrange the work. Through the way that one member of this department is in charge of two classes, we can better understand the situation. Basically, I can communicate well with the psychological Committee and have a better understanding of the freshmen. But because there are too many people, there is less interaction. This aspect needs to be improved, and we must find ways to unite this big family. It is not enough to pay attention to the situation of freshmen, ignoring the students of sophomores, juniors and seniors. In order to make up for this loophole, we also ask members to communicate with the class committees of each class to understand the situation. The difficulty lies in that the members are all freshmen, so they may be at a disadvantage when communicating with their brothers and sisters. And even if there is something in the class, they may not tell us. We will try our best to understand the situation, not only communicate with the class Committee, but also try our best to understand the situation with other people in the class.
(2) Theme activities
I. Lecture on Mental Health Education on September 29th.
This lecture was given by Associate Professor Lichun Zhang from the College of Education. The contents include: being born useful, learning and managing time.
Strength, WHO mental health standards, college students' psychological status, etc. The speaker is humorous and lively.
Interaction between teachers and students. Moreover, this lecture conflicts with the meeting between Zhao Xin, the school radio station, and several societies.
In this case, many more students attended than expected.
However, there are still many shortcomings in the work. The following are the specific points:
Due to lack of experience, there are great problems in borrowing the site.
The notice of the venue is wrong, which brings trouble. This is the result of carelessness.
Time is too hasty and preparation is not sufficient.
2. Cooperate with the Department of Mental Health of Hubei University to select the top ten "spiritual angels". 20 1 1 year 1 1 month to 2065438+May 2002.
In this selection activity, there are also many problems, as follows:
At the beginning, officers didn't know what they should do, which was the result of our carelessness and unwillingness to know.
The notice to the players in the process is not in place, and some players don't know the specific information of the game yet.
After the game, the information of players during the game was not collected in time.
4) Future prospects
1. Next semester, we will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Mental Health to carry out the selection of "Angel of Mind" and hold a psychological film screening in May.
2. Let freshmen and sophomores make a poster in each class. I plan to hold a psychological poster contest next semester to arouse everyone's enthusiasm and better publicize and popularize mental health knowledge.
Generally speaking, from the activities of this semester, we can see that the theme, content and organization before the activities are three important elements, especially the organization. Every activity must be planned and arranged in advance, so as to have a good effect. When notifying classmates or doing other work, you must do it well in advance and confirm important information such as time and place so as not to bring trouble to the follow-up work. Through this semester's work, I have learned a lot and noticed many problems that I didn't notice before. We will continue to work hard to reduce the number of mistakes and finish our work by going up a flight of stairs.
