Employees of Yimei Group will be fined if they fail to have a medical examination. There are certain safety risks when employees of Yimei Group go to work, because coal mine operations involve personnel, machinery, electricity, gas, coal dust and other factors, which are prone to accidents. Article 35 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases shall, in accordance with the provisions of the safety production supervision and management department and the health administrative department of the State Council, organize occupational health examinations before, during and after taking up their posts, and inform the workers of the examination results in writing. The expenses for occupational health examination shall be borne by the employer. Article 71 Where an employing unit violates the provisions of this Law and commits any of the following acts, the safety production supervision and management department shall order it to make corrections within a time limit, give it a warning, and may impose a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 100,000 yuan:
1. Failing to report the occupational disease hazards to the safety production supervision and management department timely and truthfully;
2. The daily monitoring of occupational hazard factors by special personnel is not implemented, or the monitoring system cannot monitor normally;
3. Failing to inform the workers of the real situation of occupational hazards when concluding or changing the labor contract;
4. Failing to organize occupational health examination, establish occupational health monitoring files or inform the workers of the examination results in writing;
5. When the employee leaves the employer, he fails to provide a copy of the occupational health monitoring file in accordance with the provisions of this Law. Therefore, employees of Yimei Group will be fined if they do not have a medical examination.
