First of all, I don't have any religious beliefs. I just feel that everything is the way it is, and there is no need to deliberately kill and protect it.
But why are people so disgusted with cruelty to animals? Obviously, we don't leave the usual chicken, duck and fish behind, and we don't feel any guilt after eating them. These eaten animals and those slaughtered animals will eventually be destroyed. Why do we hate cruelty so much?
First, the purpose is different. Ordinary poultry are raised for eating. Because human beings are omnivores, animals and plants should be our rations, otherwise our own nutrition is not enough, which will cause our own unhealthy. Just like wolves eat sheep and sheep eat grass, it is a link in the food chain of nature, a natural law, and for their own survival. No matter how cruel others seem, they can't be wrong. Because all the animals and plants are in it, there is no escape.
Second: the starting point is different. Since we eat meat and sheep eat grass for the same reason, there is nothing to say about killing chickens, ducks and geese. But killing animals is not to survive, but to realize some cruel idea.
Most notorious criminals in the world abused animals when they were young, and they enjoyed it. I won't give examples here. The scene was bloody. Interested friends can search on their own. Various cases show that people who kill animals have no empathy and cruel means, and are likely to develop into criminals.
Therefore, as an ordinary person with a bottom line, we don't object to eating live animals for living (except animals and plants that are not allowed to be hunted by the state), but we must resolutely resist cruelty, which is a normal moral behavior of ordinary people.
It is hoped that the state can introduce relevant regulations as soon as possible to protect ordinary animals from abuse, which stems from a small wish of an ordinary person.
