The origin of the Asian Games

The Asian Games, referred to as the Asian Games, is the largest comprehensive sports meeting in Asia. It is held every four years, alternating with the Olympic Games. Originally sponsored by Asian Games Federation, it was hosted by OCA after 1982.

I visited all Asian sports representatives who came to London to participate in the Olympic Games, and invited representatives from South Korea, China, the Philippines and other countries and regions to hold the preparatory meeting for the establishment of Asian sports organizations in the 3rd Asian Games. The meeting decided to draft the relevant documents and articles of association of the Asian Games, and decided to hold the first Asian Games in New Delhi, India in February, 1949 (due to domestic reasons in India, the Games were postponed to 195 1). 1949 In February, representatives of Asian national sports organizations held a meeting in New Delhi, India.
