Jiang Wanrong introduced that in June last year, the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Affordable Rental Housing, which defined the top-level design of the national housing security system for the first time. Subsequently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and relevant departments established a relatively complete set of housing security policies and management systems, including supporting policies such as finance, taxation and land, as well as access, use, withdrawal and operation management mechanisms of affordable housing. At present, the pattern of local multi-agent and multi-channel development of affordable rental housing has been formed. During the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, 40 key cities will build and raise 6.5 million affordable rental houses, which can solve the housing difficulties of nearly 20 million new citizens and young people.
