(1) toxicity
Water-borne polyester paint (water-borne paint) is a truly nontoxic and odorless high-tech environmental protection product, which adopts advanced polyurethane system and has ultra-low VOC content (200mg/L lower than the national mandatory standard). Nitryl paint and polyester paint (oily paint) are added with organic solvents, and their products contain benzene, toluene, xylene and their derivatives, so polyester paint has the highest toxicity, followed by nitro paint.
(2) Flammability
Water-based wood paint uses water instead of organic solvent, and the product is safe and nonflammable. Greatly reduce the dangerous factors and troubles in production and circulation. Nitryl paint and polyester paint (oily paint) contain benzene, xylene, acetone, solvent gasoline and sodium hydroxide, which are highly flammable. The investment of fire fighting equipment using water-based paint is greatly reduced, and the safety factor is greatly improved.
(3) Stimulate odor
Water-based wood paint uses water instead of organic solvent, and its products will not produce any irritating smell when painted. Nitrocellulose paint and polyester paint contain organic solvents, which will volatilize into the air during brushing and drying, directly stimulating the sensory organs of human body.
(4) Check-in time after painting
Waterborne wood paint has the characteristics of less brushing times, quick drying and easy painting, and can be used after painting. However, nitrolacquer and organic solvents in polyester paint will emit harmful gases during drying. Therefore, houses decorated with nitrolacquer and polyester paint (oily paint) are generally not allowed to move in directly after painting, and need to wait for a period of isolation.
