Bees belong to Hymenoptera, Apiidae. Bees are social insects, which are composed of queen bees, drones, worker bees and other individuals.
The actual value of bees as pollinators is greater than the value of making honey and beeswax. 8-20 mm long, brown or dark brown, with thick hair; The head is almost as wide as the chest; The antenna is knee-shaped, the compound eye is oval, the mouthparts are chewing and sucking, and the hind feet are powder-carrying feet.
Two pairs of membrane wings, the front wing is big and the rear wing is small, and the front and rear wings are connected by wing hooks; The abdomen is nearly oval, with less body hair than the chest and claws at the end of the abdomen. Bees go through four stages: eggs, larvae, pupae and adults. There are about 1.5 million species of bees in the world, and there are about 1.000 species in China.
breeding method
Tightening spleen and spring reproduction
During the spring breeding season, every two beehives are placed side by side. In the evening without wind, feed each group of bees with sugar water (sucrose: water = 1: 1) or 250~300ml honey mixed with water. After 2 hours, when the bees are so excited that they will disperse and the temperature in the box rises, you can shake the bees and tighten the spleen. When the spleen is tense, only 1 spleen can be selected, and all the extra spleen can be raised, which can promote the queen bee to lay eggs quickly.
This can prevent the attack of low temperature in early spring and many cold waves, so that the spawning circle is not frozen, bees develop healthily, and some bees can rest and prolong their life.
thermal insulation
Put 1 spleen in the center of the hive after tightening, and bees can protect the nest spleen. Put 1 clapboard on one side near the adjacent box, put 1 clapboard on the other side, and put insulation outside the board. The method of heat preservation outside the box is: grass is padded at the bottom of the box, weeds are filled between two beehives, and plastic sheets are used for moisture protection and heat preservation. On rainy days or cold nights, all beehives are covered with plastic sheets to avoid blocking the door. At night, according to the temperature, you can close the nest door.
