In order to further improve the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic and implement the latest domestic prevention and control requirements, since the date of this notice, passengers departing from the United States for China are requested to apply for health codes from the China Embassy and Consulate in the United States according to the following requirements:

I. Test requirements

Passengers who fly directly from the United States to China must complete the 1 nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding, and apply for a health code with the negative proof of this test.

For example, the date of your direct flight from the United States to China is 65438+February 10, and the nucleic acid test can be completed on any day of 65438+February 8, 9, 10, but it is recommended to reserve enough time to apply for a health code.

Accept the nucleic acid detection certificate issued by a legal testing institution in the United States. Testing institutions should have CLIA qualification.

The test report shall contain specific information such as personal name, date of birth, sampling time, report issuing time and contact information of testing institutions.

Second, apply for a health code.

Required materials

1, negative report of nucleic acid detection;

2. Air tickets or travel itinerary to China;

3. On the front page of a valid passport or travel permit, foreign citizens must also hold a valid visa or residence permit in China.

2. Foreign citizens: apply through the QR code page H5/ of the foreigner's health declaration.

3. Please choose the corresponding embassy or consulate in the United States to apply for the health code according to the consular district where the nucleic acid testing institution is located.

Third, transfer passengers.

Passengers who originate from the United States and transit through a third country, or passengers who depart from a third country and transit through the United States to China, can complete nucleic acid testing and apply for a health code at any transit place or origin according to their own itinerary, and transit passengers only need to ensure that the health code is still valid when boarding at the last transit place.

Four, cancel the previous infection history, close contacts, suspected symptoms, uncertain test results and other personnel's health code application additional requirements.
