What is the standard of physical and mental health?

In the past, people thought that the so-called physical and mental health meant that there was no disease, that is, physical examination could not find out which part had pathological symptoms. With the continuous progress of human society, people gradually realize that people are a unity of body and mind, and people's health is not only that there is no disease physically, but also that there is no abnormal phenomenon psychologically.

The WHO (United Nations World Health Organization) once defined health as follows:

"Health is not only the absence of disease, but also a state of physical, psychological and social integrity." That is, human health includes physical health, mental health and good social adaptability.

Recently, WHO put forward the standard of people's physical and mental health, which includes physical and mental health. Physical health can be measured by "five precepts" and mental health can be measured by "three virtues".

This "five fast" is:

(1) Eat fast and have a good appetite. You can finish a meal quickly without being picky about food. The amount of food and the time of eating are basically the same, which proves that the visceral function is normal. Eating fast is not about wolfing down and not distinguishing the taste, but about not being picky about food, not being partial to food, and not finding it difficult to swallow. Eat well, have a sense of satisfaction after eating, and have no sense of satiety.

(2) When you have to defecate quickly, you can excrete urine and urine quickly. And I feel relaxed and comfortable, and I have a good feeling in spirit, which shows that the gastrointestinal function is good. If you don't hold the stool hard, you won't feel tired after defecation.

(3) Go to bed quickly, be naturally sleepy regularly at night, go to bed and fall asleep quickly, and sleep deeply; Wake up clear-headed and energetic. Quality is the most important thing to sleep fast. If you sleep too long, you still feel weak after sleeping, which is a psychological and physiological pathological manifestation. Such as various psychological and physiological disorders and neurosis. Sleeping fast shows that the excitation and inhibition functions of the central nervous system are coordinated, and there is no interference from pathological information of internal organs.

(4) Speak quickly, fluently and correctly. The content of the speech is central and logical. It can be changed according to the topic. It means clear-headed, quick-thinking, full of blood and normal cardiopulmonary function. There is no feeling of fatigue when speaking, and there is no phenomenon of dull mind and unsmooth speech.

(5) Walk fast, move freely and harmoniously, and move easily and forcefully; Fast rotation, quick response and smooth movement. Prove that the body and limbs are in good condition and full of energy.

Weakness caused by many diseases starts from the lower limbs. When people suffer from some visceral diseases, their lower limbs often feel heavy. When you are anxious, depressed or in poor psychological condition, you often feel weak limbs, heavy footsteps, or uncoordinated movements and slow response.

"Three virtues" are:

(1) Good personality, gentle personality, words and deeds can make people psychologically recognized, and can give full play to their own personality characteristics in adapting to the environment, without regular sense of oppression and impulse. Strong-willed, self-development goals clear, work and study consciously adhere to. Rich in feelings, love life, always look forward, open-minded and open-minded.

(2) Good social skills to see the objective reality of the problem, strong self-control, and the behavior of interacting with people can be accepted by most people. Adapt to the complex social environment, always maintain a stable and good mood for the changes of things, maintain the ability to adapt to different environments, and maintain the balance between the external environment and the internal environment of the body.

(3) Good interpersonal relationships have the desire to associate with others, make friends selectively, cherish friendship and respect the personality of others. Be generous to others, be kind to yourself, be self-respecting, self-confident, be self-reliant, be lenient to others, not be picky about others, and not care too much about others' problems and interpersonal conflicts.
