In order to further improve students' awareness of the rule of law, care for and protect their healthy growth, on the occasion of Children's Day on June 1, Mengcheng County Music School and the staff of Mengcheng County People's Court carried out legal education, giving students a unique legal education class and escorting their healthy growth with the law.
The activity kicked off in the speech of Yuan Xuefeng, Party Secretary of Le Tu Town. Lecturers of county courts give lectures on the rule of law, and combine vivid cases to educate students on the law from the aspects of criminal law, prevention of drowning, network security, etc., so as to guide students to establish the concept of the rule of law, improve their awareness of the rule of law, and be good teenagers who abide by the law in the new era.
The "mock trial" of students in Happy Land Middle School pushed the activity to a climax. The students were dressed in uniforms, and the mock trial officially began as the gavel of the "presiding judge" fell. This simulation accepts cases of health right disputes closely related to students' lives.
Among them, the roles of presiding judge, judge, clerk, assistant judge, agent ad litem, bailiff, plaintiff and defendant are all played by eighth-grade students. After the court session, the clerk first announces the court discipline, and then the presiding judge and the judge enter the court session. After verifying the information of both parties, the presiding judge announced the litigation rights enjoyed by the litigants in the course of litigation, and then conducted a court investigation.
The harvest of mock trial:
After the court investigation, the two sides held a court debate and made a reasonable judgment after deliberation by the collegial panel. The students on the stage gave a wonderful performance, and all the teachers, students, leaders and judicial professionals attended the meeting listened carefully. After the mock trial, the leaders of Mengcheng County Court made detailed comments on this mock trial, and the leaders awarded honorary certificates to the students, sowing the seeds of the rule of law in the hearts of all the students.
