1929, the county seat moved southward to Shawanzhuang (now the old Shawan Township seat), which was successively under Tacheng Administrative Region and Tacheng Special Zone.
1956 moved to sandaohezi town.
From 1975 to 1977, it belongs to Shihezi area.
